Jim Ross experiences WIVK’s Big Orange Wake-up Call (Listen Here)

WWE hall of fame announcer Jim Ross has been in Knoxville all week preparing for the Tennessee-Oklahoma game.

Ross, who’s a noted Oklahoma fan, has made several public stops in Knoxville this week, including an appearance on Sports 180 with Josh and Will on WNML Sports Radio 99.1, “Vol Calls” and at his “Ringside” show on Thursday night at The International.

Andy and Alison and the Morning Crew on WIVK decided Friday morning (Sept.11th 2015) to wake up Ross to help him get ready for the upcoming weekend. Jimmy Holt and the Big Orange Banditos stopped by JR’s hotel room to give him a famous “Big Orange Wake-up Call.” Listen below.

Ross has been a great sport and big hit around town all week. He told Sports 180 on Tuesday that visiting Neyland Stadium will give him a chance to cross an item off his “bucket list.”

As you might have guessed, JR is picking Oklahoma to beat Tennessee.
