Carrie Underwood Hopes Her Third Album Continues To Impress Fans
Carrie Underwood's third album Play On lands in stores Tuesday. Recording this album came pretty naturally for her. A lot of people have asked Carrie if she was nervous following up her first two multi-platinum albums, but she says, "I'm just doing what I love...just being myself and loving what I do and just going with the flow."
Carrie had a hand in writing her first single from the CD, "Cowboy Casanova," and it's one of seven songs Carrie co-wrote. She says, "I think people can enjoy my writing more [on this album] and things that are truly coming from my heart." As she's done with all her albums, Carrie has made sure to include a variety of songs on Play On. She says, "It takes you all over the place -- takes you all around the world."
Carrie hopes her fans will like what they hear on Play On. The mentality of trying to win the audience over began during her time on American Idol, and she continues with that outlook today. Carrie says, "I feel like every single time that I'm onstage, maybe there some people that are watching...maybe I'm still auditioning for them...maybe I can still win them over."
