Toby Keith Speaks His Mind On Politics Today

Toby Keith is not one to shy away from politics, and he's speaking his mind on a few key issues in a new interview with CNN. When it comes to a national health care plan, Toby supports the idea but thinks it should go to those who are earning their keep. He says, "I think if you're a working mother...and you're trying, you deserve it. But if you're sitting around drinking beer...and not trying, I don't know if you deserve it."

Toby also thinks President Obama is doing just fine in office saying, "The stock market's rallied. I mean, I'll always pull for the commander in chief, whoever it is...I want to live in a country that's functional."

With all this attention on politics, would Toby ever run for office himself? He tells CNN, "It don't pay enough...I know what the president has to work for...and that won't even pay my light bill."
