Miranda Lambert May Not Be Engaged, But She Thinks About Marriage
Just to be clear, Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are not engaged as far as we know, but like any 20-something woman with a long-term boyfriend, Miranda has thought about what her wedding day will be like. She admits to watching wedding shows on TV constantly while on her tour bus, but Miranda isn't quite sure she wants a big, fairytale wedding. She says, "A wedding is the bride's day to be famous. I get to be famous every day. I get to get onstage and perform."
While Miranda would prefer to keep that special event private, she knows some members of her family may have other plans. Miranda says, "Knowing my mother, I'm sure it would be a production."
A wedding is also a time for friends and family to celebrate with the happy couple, so Miranda would want her loved ones to witness the ceremony. She says, "If I did a big wedding, it would not be for me. It would be for everybody else."
