Location: Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center

Experience the fitness and fun of All Sports Camp, where campers explore a variety of sports and fitness opportunities that will keep them active and building healthy habits to last a lifetime. Instruction is taught at all skill levels while promoting self-confidence, balance, coordination, and teamwork.All Sports Camp is located at Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center (FSHFC). Members of FSHFC will pay $130 for the week. Non-members will pay $160 for the week. Discounts are available for families with more than one child enrolled. Camp is held Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (see dates below for registration). All computers must be in good working condition. ETTAC is a regional nonprofit agency that helps people with disabilities. The staff adapts computers with specialized software and hardware that are then loaned to clients to enable them to learn, work and to become more productive. All donations are tax deductible. Residents throughout Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc.’s 15 county service delivery area are now able to recycle their computers and computer equipment free of charge. Goodwill Industries and Dell have teamed-up to offer the Reconnect program which will allow consumers to drop off their computers and computer equipment at any Goodwill Industries-Knoxville retail location or attended donation center for recycling. Recycling doesn’t just save the environment- it provides jobs and training. Residents throughout Goodwill Industries-Knoxville, Inc.’s 15 county service delivery area are now able to recycle their computers and computer equipment free of charge. Goodwill Industries and Dell have teamed-up to offer the Reconnect program which will allow consumers to drop off their computers and computer equipment at any Goodwill Industries-Knoxville retail location or attended donation center for recycling. Recycling doesn’t just save the environment- it provides jobs and training. Location: East Tennessee Technology Access Center

WANTED: the East Tennessee Technology Access Center is looking for teenagers with disabilities who would like to participate in the development of adapted toys, robots, and possibly even X-Box controllers. They will be working with a group of designers and super-duper techies at ETTAC’s Knoxville office, 4918 N. Broadway for one or two afternoons the week of July 12. Students must be able to communicate with the Electronic-Techies about the toys, trucks, robots, and electronic games they need help playing with. If you recently upgraded your computer system and want to know where to drop off your old computer, the East Tennessee Technology Access Center will accept Pentium IV computers or newer. All computers must be in good working condition. ETTAC is a regional nonprofit agency that helps people with disabilities. The staff adapts computers with specialized software and hardware that are then given or loaned to clients with disabilities to enable them to become more productive. Hard drives will be wiped clean before distribution. All donations are tax deductible.
