Jack Ryan never really did well in school and has been called academically challenged. He learned early on that he was not cut out to be a doctor, and would never become a world renowned scientist. So, he decided he needed to do something else in his life that would not require a lot of brainpower but something that could still make a difference in the lives of others. Jack loves country music and graduated from the University of Tennessee so working at a country radio station in Knoxville seemed to be the perfect fit. And so far, he's been right.
Since joining "The Frog Station," Jack has won several awards including the "Silver Microphone" award, the "Communication" award and a Gold Addy Award. He has been nominated for CMA Country Music Personality of the year five times and has been recognized by the state of Tennessee for his achievements. Jack has consistently dominated the night show ratings and has been in the number one spot time and time again in most demo's since he took over.
Jack has recently started a Sunday night show called "Nashville's Newest" and is known throughout the area as the concert guy, attending every concert and pumping up every crowd before they start. Jack is all over the community and spends the time he's not on air speaking or reading to students at area schools, volunteering for local charities and churches and doing his part to make his area a better one to live in. Oh, and he likes to hit the Tennessee Volunteer football and basketball games too.
Jack's 4 year old has already been on the air and on stage with him and is a natural. Her name is Rose and she is Jack's pride and joy. She recently had a baby sister come into her radio world not long ago and is starting to learn to share the stage. Penelopy Zinnia was born in August.
