June Means Free Breakfast and Lunch for Students in Blount County

Blount County, TN (WOKI) Students needing a meal next month as summer gets underway won’t go hungry in Blount County.

Officials with Blount County Schools Nutrition Department have announced that they will provide free breakfast and lunch from June 1st to June 23rd, every Monday through Friday.

There are no income requirements, and anyone 18 years of age and younger may partake of the meals.

Breakfast will be served from 7:15 am – 8:30 am, and lunch will be served from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm. Families can choose from among 11 locations (see below) to have a meal but are asked to visit only one site per day, per meal.

Families are also asked to please check in at the school’s front office before going to the cafe.
