The mood has changed within the Tennessee Titans fanbase over the last year.

Titans general manager Jon Robinson has added several players, including offensive tackle Jack Conklin and running back DeMarco Murray, that have helped the Titans become more competitive in the NFL. Those roster upgrades helped the Titans finish last season with a 9-7 record, the team’s first winning season since 2011.

Last year’s performance combined with this past weekend’s draft has created even more buzz for Tennessee. The South Point Hotel in Las Vegas has even made the Titans the favorite to win their division following last weekend’s NFL Draft.

The Titans haven’t won their division since 2008.

Evan Silva of Rotoworld expressed more confidence in the Titans when he joined Sports 180 on Tuesday. The Titans’ draft results from last weekend helped play a role.

“Second strong draft in a row, in my opinion,” Silva said. “I would be very optimistic if I were a Titans fan. It feels like we were doing this four years ago with the same sort of stuff and there was just not a whole lot of room for optimism. Things have changed very, very quickly and I think this team is headed in the right direction.”

Silva shared more thoughts on the Titans as well as Alvin Kamara’s role in the New Orleans Saints’ offense during his interview on Sports 180. Listen below.
