Thomas Rhett is Still a Happy Man 7 Years Later

Back in January 2015 Thomas Rhett co-wrote one of his biggest hits. In 2016 it hit number-one on the Billboard country airplay chart and stayed there for 6 weeks – the longest reigning chart topper of his career so far.

So, 7 years after co-writing, and 6 since it went number-one, Thomas is reflecting on “Die A Happy Man”…he shares, “January 2015, I wrote ‘Die A Happy Man’ with Joe London and Sean Douglas. This video is from the very first time I played it live in Little Rock a few nights later…y’all embraced this song in a way that changed my life and career forever, and I’ll always be grateful to you guys for that.”

Thomas recalls this “Where He Started” moment in his career as he’s getting ready to release his next album, Where We Started, on April 1st.

The first single from the new project is working its way up the airplay chart – “Slow Down Summer” is the latest from Thomas Rhett.
