Kamara Ready for 2022 NFL Pro Bowl

LAS VEGAS – With Pro Bowl practice and festivities already underway, former Tennessee Volunteer Alvin Kamara is ready to show out on the big stage.

Kamara was voted onto the squad after posting 898 rushing yards in 13 appearances with the New Orleans Saints. He punched in nine total touchdowns, four coming on the ground and five through the air. His pass catching was phenomenal for the Saints and made him a tough weapon to guard as he made 47 catches on the season for 439 yards (9.3 average).

Kamara has made the NFL Pro Bowl in all five of his seasons in the league. He is the first player in New Orleans’ history to make the Pro Bowl in each of his first five seasons.

Kamara is one of nine VFLs to be selected to the Pro Bowl five or more times in his career, joining Doug Atkins (8), Eric Berry (5), Terry McDaniel (5), Anthony Miller (5), Peyton Manning (14), Mike Stratton (6), Reggie White (13) and Jason Witten (11).

The former Volunteer suits up for the NFC, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. ET Sunday on ESPN at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders.
