MIAMI — Due to heavy rain Sunday morning in Miami and team travel schedules, Sunday’s meeting between No. 16 Tennessee and Maryland for the Felsberg Invitational championship game has been canceled.
The Lady Vols wrap up opening weekend 4-0 and return to the Sunshine State next week for five games at the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational sponsored by ESPN. UT kicks off the event Thursday, Feb. 17, taking on Notre Dame and No. 4 Florida State at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively, with both contests airing on ESPNU. Tennessee will also take on No. 7 Washington, No. 15 Clemson and UCF at the tournament in Clearwater.
