A Suspicious Package is Found in Downtown Knoxville Bring Out the Bomb Squad

Knoxville Police along with the bomb squad investigate a possible suspicious package.

Yesterday ( Sunday) morning KPD’s Explosive Ordinance Detail unit and the FBI were sent to the 500 block of West Vine Avenue near the Old City to investigate the package. The scene was clear by noon and the package was found to be non-explosive.
