Tennessee Senator Steve Southerland from Morristown is taken to the hospital after experiencing a medical emergency on the Senate floor.
He was rushed out of the chamber and taken to the hospital via ambulance yesterday (Monday) afternoon and is being treated and evaluated.
No information has been released on what caused the medical emergency.
