Beginning on Sunday resurfacing activities will begin on I-75 from just north of Emory Road Exit 112 to just north of Raccoon Valley Road (Exit 117).
This work will take place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., Sunday through Thursday evenings. All work is expected to be complete by mid-July.
Crews will begin resurfacing in the southbound direction. This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
As always, drivers are reminded to use all motorist information tools wisely and “Know Before You Go!” by checking travel conditions before leaving for your destination. Drivers should never tweet, text, or talk on a cell phone while behind the wheel. The TDOT SmartWay system provides the latest updates for road construction activity.
