“A First Utility District (FUD) sewer main break has contaminated North Fork Turkey Creek from Grigsby Chapel Road to the Fort Loudoun Reservoir,” the town said, adding that people and animals should avoid the area.
FUD posted a statement on the district’s website, giving a bit more detail.

FUD is coordinating immediate repairs to the damaged sewer line and is taking necessary actions to address reporting and compliance requirements with the State of Tennessee.”
The town also said those looking for more information could call FUD at 865-966-9741. There’s no word yet on how long the break will last.
