CLINTON, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — A City of Clinton 911 dispatcher is facing serious criminal charges after turning himself in to authorities earlier this week.
According to the Clinton Police Department, Tyler Lindsey voluntarily surrendered Tuesday at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office after both he and the department were made aware of outstanding warrants.
Lindsey has been charged with two counts of rape of a child, two counts of aggravated sexual battery, and one count of incest, according to officials.
Following his arrest, Lindsey was placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of the case.
Court records show his arraignment is scheduled for Thursday at 9 a.m. If released on bond, Lindsey will be required to wear a GPS monitoring device.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation. Authorities have not released additional details about the allegations at this time.
The case remains active and ongoing.
