LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WOKI) — Veterans, transitioning service members, job seekers and community members are invited to attend a Multi-County Veteran Resource and Job Fair later this month in Loudon County.
The event will be hosted by the Knoxville American Job Center in partnership with local veteran organizations on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2026, at the War Memorial Building, 103 B Street, Lenoir City, Tennessee 37771.
The job fair will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and is designed to connect veterans and other job seekers with employers and organizations offering employment opportunities and support services.
Organizers say attendees will have the opportunity to meet directly with hiring managers and learn about openings across a wide range of industries, including transportation, logistics, food service, healthcare, hospitality, warehousing, nuclear energy, engineering, information technology, city government, education, construction, finance, retail and manufacturing.
More than 30 employers and 20 veteran service organizations are expected to participate in the event.
In addition to employment opportunities, attendees can take advantage of several free services. Wampler’s Food will provide a complimentary lunch, while TCAT Harriman will offer free haircuts during the event.
Job seekers are encouraged to register through JOBS4TN.gov and prepare for the fair by reviewing Tennessee’s online job fair preparation resources before attending.
While the event focuses on serving veterans and military families, organizers emphasize that all who have served are invited and the event is open to the public.
Officials say the event is an opportunity not only to find employment but also to connect with resources dedicated to supporting veterans throughout East Tennessee.
