KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI) – Knox County residents who want to participate in the November election are being reminded that the voter registration deadline is quickly approaching.
According to the Knox County Election Commission, Monday, October 5, 2026, is the final day to register to vote before the November 3, 2026 Federal and State General Election. Individuals who are not registered by that date will not be eligible to vote in the upcoming election.
The November ballot will include several high-profile races, including contests for Governor of Tennessee, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives District 2, and seats in the Tennessee General Assembly.
For voters who prefer to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day, early voting begins October 14 and continues through October 29. Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3.
Election officials encourage residents to verify their registration status and review voting information well before the deadline. Voters can access sample ballots, early voting locations, polling place information, and absentee voting details through the Knox County Election Commission website.
