A total of 16 Tennessee football student-athletes will wear the SEC graduate patch during the 2022 season.
 
The SEC introduced the patch in 2016 season for student-athletes in all sports who have already earned their degree but have not exhausted their eligibility. The SEC logo patch on their uniforms is replaced with a special patch with the word “Graduate” underneath the conference logo. The patch is similar in design for all conference schools, but it is school-specific in color.

Tennessee’s 16 players wearing the SEC graduate patch this fall are as follows:

• Nick Humphrey – BS in Supply Chain Management (Dec. 2021)
• Cheyenne Labruzza – BS in Supply Chain Management (May 2021)
• Ollie Lane – BS in Kinesiology (May 2021)
• Austin Lewis – BS in Interdisciplinary Studies (May 2022 from ETSU)
• Chase McGrath – BA in Communications (Dec. 2020 from Southern Cal)
• Joe Milton III – BA in American Culture (May 2021 from Michigan)
• Solon Page III – BS in Recreation & Sport Management (Dec. 2021)
• Maurese Smith – BS in Food Science (May 2021 from Alabama A&M)

Tennessee opens its 126th season of football and the second year of the Josh Heupel era at 7 p.m. Thursday in Neyland Stadium. The contest will be televised by SEC Network.
