On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, the Knox County Grand Jury returned a five-count presentment against Tony Lynn Strand, 33. Strand faces charges including three counts of Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, one count of Burglary, and one count of Observation without Consent. These charges are associated with conduct occurring from March 24, 2025, to April 8, 2025. Judge Hector Sanchez has set the bond at $500,000. It is important to note that Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor is a Class B felony, carrying a potential sentence of eight to twelve years in prison. Strand has been taken into custody and will be booked into the Roger D. Wilson Detention Facility.
The Knox County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit began investigating after a female noticed something suspicious in the women’s restroom at Cove Park in Farragut. Deputies and detectives discovered a camera in the ceiling of the women’s bathroom. The date range is from March 24, 2025, until April 8, 2025, when MCU Detectives removed it.
