Knoxville, TN (WOKI) – At the halfway mark (seven days of fourteen) of early voting for the May 5, 2026 Knox County Primary Election, a total of 13,600 early votes have been cast, with an additional 1,486 votes cast by absentee ballot and in nursing homes.
There are a total of 263,707 registered voters in Knox County as of Wednesday, April 22, 2026.
NEW VOTERS AND OLDEST VOTER: A total of 272 first-time voters have cast a ballot through the first seven days (halfway point) of early voting. The oldest voters thus far – two of them – are 102 years old.
