Memphis, TN (WOKI / TBI / WVLT) – Danell Maxwell, who is on the Tennessee Most Wanted list for shooting a Memphis Police Officer, is in custody after 70 days on the run.
He was found and taken into custody after 3 hours early yesterday (Thursday) morning at an apartment in Cordova, which is about 30 minutes west of Memphis, by U.S. Marshals and deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive team.
A woman is facing charges for helping Maxwell who is facing Attempted first Degree Murder and Aggravated Assault among other charges.
