KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — MEDIC Regional Blood Center is giving area high school students an opportunity to showcase their creativity while supporting the region’s blood supply.
The blood center has announced a t-shirt design contest for high school students throughout its service area. The winning design will be featured on a spring donor t-shirt distributed by MEDIC and will earn the student artist a $500 e-gift card.
The contest opens August 28 and runs through September 28, with entries being accepted through an online submission process.
MEDIC donor t-shirts have become a popular incentive for blood donors, and organizers say the contest gives students a chance to contribute artwork that could be seen across the region while promoting blood donation awareness.
