KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Knox County woman who was last seen leaving Halls Community Park.
According to KCSO, 36-year-old Maleaya Taboaba was last seen at the park’s ball fields on August 24, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Investigators said Taboaba told others she was driving home after leaving the park. However, authorities say she never arrived at her residence, prompting concern for her welfare.
Deputies believe Taboaba is driving a silver 2013 Nissan Rogue bearing Tennessee license plate 654BSHZ.
The Sheriff’s Office has issued a public appeal for information and is asking residents to remain alert for both Taboaba and her vehicle.
Anyone who sees Taboaba or the Nissan Rogue is encouraged to check her welfare if it can be done safely and immediately contact the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Records Division.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
