KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WOKI / WVLT) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a Silver Alert for a Knoxville man who was last seen Friday in the Chapman Highway area.
Authorities are searching for 78-year-old Leroy Walker, who was reported missing after he was last seen wearing a red plaid shirt and dark jeans.
According to the TBI, Walker is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.
Investigators believe Walker may be traveling in a 2010 Acura MDX displaying Tennessee license plate BSH-1972. The vehicle is also described as having three stickers on the left side of the rear window, which could help motorists identify it.
Law enforcement agencies are asking the public to remain alert and report any sightings of Walker or his vehicle.
A Silver Alert is issued when authorities believe a missing adult may be endangered due to age, medical conditions or other circumstances that could place the individual at risk.
