KNOXVILLE, TN (WOKI) – Veterans, military spouses and other job seekers looking for employment opportunities will have a chance to meet directly with employers and workforce resources at a major hiring event in Knoxville this week.
The Paychecks for Patriots Job and Resource Fair will be held Tuesday, October 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Knoxville American Job Center, located at 2700 Middlebrook Pike, Suite 100, in Knoxville. The event is free and open to the public.
The annual event is designed to connect veterans and military spouses with employment opportunities while also welcoming anyone seeking a new career, a career change or workforce assistance. Organizers say Tennessee state government agencies, veteran-owned businesses and community resource providers will be available throughout the day.
Attendees will be able to network with hiring representatives, learn about employment benefits, explore available positions and connect with workforce development organizations. Opportunities are expected to include full-time jobs, part-time positions, internships and entry-level career paths.
