Knoxville, Tennessee (KCSO/WOKI) The Knox County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit (TANGO) is investigating a vehicle crash on Maynardville Highway near Loyston Road and the Union County Line. Upon arrival June 13, 2025, deputies found that three vehicles had collided, resulting in multiple victims.
Emergency responders from R/M and AMR Ambulance quickly assessed all individuals involved. Three were transported to local hospitals with what appeared to be serious injuries. Sadly, one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial observations suggest speed may have contributed to the collision. TANGO is conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause.
