Pigeon Forge, TN (WOKI / Dollywood) – The first events of the inaugural Run Dollywood weekend took place Saturday at Dollywood Parks & Resorts in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Saturday’s events included a 5k run, a 10k run and a kids run. Participants will lace up on Sunday morning for a half-marathon which takes them through Dollywood theme park, Dollywood’s Splash Country water park, and onto the properties at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa, as well as Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort.
