Oak Ridge, Tenn. (WVLT) — City crews are working to restore water service after a suspected water line break caused outages and low pressure across much of Oak Ridge.
According to city officials, residents began reporting issues with water pressure and service disruptions last night (Sunday), prompting a response from Oak Ridge Public Works. Crews were dispatched to investigate a possible break near Tulsa Road.
Officials said work is underway to determine the exact cause of the problem and repair the line as quickly as possible. The extent of the damage has not yet been confirmed.
The outages have impacted a large portion of the city, but officials have not provided an estimated timeline for when full service will be restored.
