All of the non-conference games on the Tennessee men’s basketball 2019-20 schedule have been set.

After making back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and totaling 57 victories over the last two seasons, the Volunteers look to maintain their winning momentum.

High-profile matchups against Memphis (home, Dec. 14), Cincinnati (away, Dec. 18) and Wisconsin (home, Dec. 28) were previously announced, as was UT’s 2019 Emerald Coast Classic showdown against Florida State—which will be followed by a game against either Purdue or VCU. It was also recently announced that Tennessee is traveling to face the Kansas Jayhawks at historic Allen Fieldhouse as part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge (Jan. 25).

Six more non-conference games also have now been set, all of which will take place at home at Thompson-Boling Arena. Tennessee hosts UNC Asheville (Nov. 5), Murray State (Nov. 12), Alabama State (Nov. 20), Chattanooga (Nov. 25), Florida A&M (Dec. 4) and Jacksonville State (Dec. 21).

The games against Alabama State and Chattanooga are a part of the Emerald Coast Classic and lead into the four-team championship round in Niceville, Florida, during Thanksgiving Week.

The Vols tip things off by hosting an exhibition contest against Eastern New Mexico on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Tennessee’s SEC schedule is likely to be announced later this month.

The Big Orange will be led next season by rising senior guards Jordan Bowden and Lamonte Turner. Both players enter the season on the verge of joining UT’s 50-man 1,000-Point Club. They are the team’s top returning scorers, as Turner averaged 11.0 points per game, and Bowden averaged 10.6.

Tennessee also enters the season riding the nation’s longest active home win streak, having won 26 straight at Thompson-Boling Arena dating to the 2017-18 SEC Championship season.

Watch Jon Pardi Hit the Dance Floor With Girlfriend in New “Heartache Medication” Video

Jon Pardi hit the dance floor with girlfriend Summer Duncan in his new video for “Heartache Medication,” the title track to his upcoming album (Sept. 27).

Directed by Carlos Ruiz, the new clip features Jon drowning his sorrows at the bar before getting a pick-me-up from Summer on the dance floor.

“This is the first time we ever used choreography,” says Jon. “We ended up doing practices in my barn at home and Summer and I had such a great time. It was out of my comfort zone, but I love how it came out. I loved being able to dance together, and I think it’s just one of the videos where you just feel good when you watch it.”

Jon’s upcoming 14-song album, which he co-produced with Bart Butler and Ryan Gore, features a bevy of top songwriters, including Natalie Hemby, Dean Dillon, Rhett Akins and more. Jon co-wrote seven of the tracks. In addition, Lauren Alaina’s vocals are featured on “Don’t Blame It On Whiskey,” a tune that was co-penned by Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Michael Heeney and Luke Laird.

Jon will launch his Heartache Medication Tour with back-to-back shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Oct. 2 and 3, followed by additional stops in Milwaukee, Seattle, San Diego, Phoenix and more. Riley Green will serve as direct support.

Casey Donahew Spearheads Viral Charity Campaign to Raise Funds for Teaching Supplies ($36,000+)

Casey Donahew Spearheads Viral Charity Campaign to Raise Funds for Teaching Supplies ($36,000+)

Casey Donahew is trending . . . and it’s not just because of his new album, One Light Town, which dropped on July 26.

The proud son of Texas has come to the aid of teachers in his home state—and beyond—with his involvement in a viral charity campaign (#ClearTheList) that helps educators raise money to buy classroom supplies.

On Aug. 3 via Twitter, Texas teacher Lori Wroblewski tagged Casey—and a handful of others, including Kelly Clarkson, Ivanka Trump, Ariana Grande and more—asking for assistance: “You can help my students who come hungry, abused, and neglected. I get to be the best part of their day #clearthelist #texasteacher.”

Casey responded by “clearing” Lori’s list.

Casey’s simple act of kindness opened the floodgates. As more teachers asked for assistance, Casey stepped up to help. In addition to clearing more than 30 teachers’ lists, he implored his musical cohorts to get involved, including Wade Bowen, Randy Rogers, Kevin Fowler, Josh Abbott, Stoney LaRue, William Clark Green and more.

To further the campaign, Casey started a GoFundMe page on Aug. 3 with a goal of raising $50,000 to buy supplies. More than $36,000 has already been raised.

Casey’s new 15-song album was produced by Josh Leo and features eight tunes penned by the Texan. Additional songwriters include Tim Nichols, David Lee Murphy, Jeff Hyde, Ben Hayslip, Jon Randall, Brad Tursi, Matt Ramsey and Trevor Rosen.
