Ugg ran away Monday (April 17) as Pat was getting gas at an Exxon station near Jarrell, Texas, on a trip from Fort Worth to Austin.

According to Pat’s assistant, via The Statesman, “Pat chased after her as far as he could. She just got freaked out and ran.”

Pat’s wife, Kori, posted a couple of notices on Twitter with a pic of Ugg: “Lost Puppy! Passing through Jarrell and she got spooked at the Exxon by a truck and ran off:( reward for anyone who returns her.”

Before the Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks took the ice for Game 3 of their playoff series, Carrie Underwood surprised those in attendance by singing the national anthem.

“Please rise and welcome seven-time Grammy winner and longtime Nashville Predators fan Carrie Underwood, as we honor the United States with the singing of the national anthem,” said the Bridgestone Arena announcer as the crowd voiced its approval.

Jason Aldean Scores 19th No. 1 With “Any Ol’ Barstool”—Announces New Single, “They Don’t Know” [Listen]

Jason Aldean scored the 19th No. 1 song of his career with “Any Ol’ Barstool,” which topped both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay chart this week.

On the heels of the third consecutive No. 1 from his 2016 record, They Don’t Know, Jason announced that the album’s title track will be his new single.

“When I first heard the song, it really made me think about how rural communities can come across misunderstood,” said Jason in a release. “It’s a classic scenario in movies, a Hollywood producer films in small towns and packs in every stereotype you can imagine. This song wraps all those feelings together perfectly and basically says not to judge a book by its cover. I relate to that growing up in the backwoods of Georgia.”

Jason will return to the road on April 17 as his They Don’t Know Tour begins a string of spring and summer dates with special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver.

Frankie Ballard Got Some “Fortunate” Advice From Legendary Rocker Bob Seger

Frankie Ballard Got Some “Fortunate” Advice From Legendary Rocker Bob Seger

Frankie Ballard is not shy about sharing his admiration for legendary rock artist Bob Seger. In fact, Frankie’s latest single, “You’ll Accomp’ny Me”—featured on his current album, El Rio—is a track that Bob penned and originally recorded on his 1980 album, Against the Wind.

While Frankie, who hails from Michigan—the same state as his idol—loves Bob’s soulful sound and calls him “an inspiration,” their geographic commonality had an effect on Frankie’s veneration for the rock icon.

“Growing up in Michigan—[Bob’s] a Michigan boy, so I think that has something to do with it,” Frankie tells Nash Country Daily. “Just to think that this guy is from Detroit and all of a sudden, look at him—look what he’s capable of. His recipe for rock ‘n’ roll was just something that I really loved. It was a lot of soul, it was a lot of country. Some people call it rock ‘n’ roll. I just loved his brand and I loved his voice. He is just amazing. ”

Frankie had the opportunity to open select dates on Bob’s 2011 spring tour—a dream come true for the 34-year-old. But it took Frankie speaking out to get some much-wanted advice from the legend.

“This is kind of a funny story. I was doing an interview, back at the time. I guess we are talking about 2011, 2012, when I was out [on tour] with Bob,” recalls Frankie. “I did some TV interview and they asked the question, ‘What advice has Bob given you?’ I said, ‘Well, we are out on the tour and working really hard and we’re rockin’ every night, but you know, he hasn’t really necessarily pulled me aside and given me any advice.’ Fast-forward six weeks later on tour and Bob comes up to me—at the time I was closing my opening set with ‘Fortunate Son’ by CCR [Credence Clearwater Revival]. So we are rockin’ and we thought it was cool. We thought it was great for the crowd and of course Bob had heard us do it. So he comes up to me and gives me this CD that has been burned. He said, ‘Hey, I was watching CMT, I heard you say I have never given you any advice and so I am going to give you some advice. This is me and the Silver Bullet Band covering “Fortunate Son” back in 1980. It’s some obscure show in Des Moines, Iowa, or wherever it was, so here you go. Check it out.’ First of all, it was amazing to have this bootleg version of this song that nobody has ever heard Bob do. But I liked how he was like, ‘My advice to you is to maybe do your version of “Fortunate Son” more like we would have done it.’ I was just kinda awesome.”

“The Voice” Winner Sundance Head Readies New Single Featuring a “Country Music Hall of Fame” Member

“The Voice” Winner Sundance Head Readies New Single Featuring a “Country Music Hall of Fame” Member

After winning Season 11 of The Voice in December 2016, Sundance Head joined his TV coach Blake Shelton on a 12-date tour of the West Coast and Midwest in February and March. But the Texas native has also been busy in the studio working on his debut album with producer Buddy Cannon.

While Sundance kept many of the album’s details under his hat, so to speak, he did reveal to Nash Country Daily that his debut single will feature a “special guest.”

“We just recorded the new single with Buddy Cannon, and it’s a wonderful song,” says Sundance to NCD. “The reason it’s taking so long to get this single out is because I wanted to make sure the song had integrity and wasn’t just a thrown-together piece of music to stay relevant. I wanted to make a record we’re all proud of and could listen to and I think we’re headed in that direction.

“I can’t tell you everything about the new single just yet, but I will tell you there will be a special guest on the single. She’s in the Country Music Hall of Fame and she sings like and angel. I’m really excited for it.”

The “Country Music Hall of Fame” hint narrows it down to a handful of ladies, including Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Connie Smith, Emmylou Harris, Barbara Mandrell and Brenda Lee.

And here’s an additional sidebar: Barbara Mandrell is a native Texan who recorded “Treat Him Right,” a song co-written by Sundance’s father, Roy Head.

Watch FGL’s Tyler Hubbard Race Dirt Bikes on His Incredibly Sweet Custom Built Race Track

It was just another lazy Saturday afternoon for Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard.

The singer spent the day racing a dirt bike around his custom built race track, with friend Ben Linderman. Ben, who works at a company called Snaproll—which provides aerial imagery for cinematic projects, shot aerial views of himself, Tyler and friends doing their thing on the track.

Tyler, a big fan of motorcross, has ridden with some of the best. On this particular day he enlisted the help of his friend Ben to document their races. The result is a 30 second video of the race around Tyler’s insanely cool track, dubbed Hubbard Hills.

The “May We All” singer shared the video on Instagram, making note of the fact that Ben showed him up on his very own track.

“Thanks @ben_linderman for smokin me around my own track and making an epic video to capture our epic Saturday. Can’t wait for next time. #hubbardhills #TURNT,” Tyler wrote in the caption.

Looks like a fun day out at Hubbard Hills. We’ll just have to wait for our invitation.

Check out the aerial video.

Ben also posted his own video of the ride, shot from a camera attached to his helmet.  Warning, you may get sick after watching the rollercoaster ride.

Listen to “Everybody’s Talkin’” From Glen Campbell’s Final Studio Album, “Adios,” Out June 9

Listen to “Everybody’s Talkin’” From Glen Campbell’s Final Studio Album, “Adios,” Out June 9

Glen Campbell will release his final studio album, Adiós, on June 9.

Adiós was recorded at Station West in Nashville following Glen’s Goodbye Tour in 2012, which he launched after revealing he had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Glen’s wife, Kim, revealed in March that Glen can no longer play guitar and struggles to sing. Glen, who turns 81 on April 22, is in the final stages of Alzheimer’s disease.

Glen’s new 12-track offering features songs that he always loved but never got a chance to record, including several from Jimmy Webb, who wrote hits such as “Wichita Lineman,” “By the Time I Get to Phoenix” and “Galveston.” In addition to the title track, “Adiós,” first popularized by Linda Ronstadt, Glen also sings Jimmy’s “Just Like Always” and “It Won’t Bring Her Back.”

Glen also puts his spin on several classic songs, including “Don’t Think Twice It’s All Right,” inspired by Jerry Reed’s version of Bob Dylan’s timeless tune. Glen sings Roger Miller’s “Am I All Alone (Or Is It Only Me),” which begins with a home recording of Roger singing the tune at a guitar pull before going into Glen’s version with Vince Gill on harmonies. Glen joins his old pal Willie Nelson for a duet of Willie’s 1968 “Funny How Time Slips Away.”

Below, listen to Glen’s rendition of “Everybody’s Talkin’,” a Fred Neil-penned hit made famous by Harry Nilsson in the film Midnight Cowboy.
