Exclusive: Stephanie Quayle Premieres New Single “Winnebago”

Raised in Montana and riding horses all her life, Stephanie Quayle knows a thing or two about hitting the open road. Stephanie brings that road to life in her new single, “Winnebago,” the follow-up to her catchy previous release, “Drinking With Dolly.”

“The first time I heard ‘Winnebago,’ I couldn’t help but sway, bop and smile from ear to ear,” Stephanie tells Nash Country Daily. “It’s all kinds of feel good, and I can’t help but feel that joy every time I sing it.

“Not to mention, the first time I played this song live onstage, I watched our new Flock of Quayle members [what Stephanie calls her fanbase] sing along after hearing just one chorus for the very first time! That was a moment. I knew there was something really special here.”

Nash Country Daily has the exclusive premiere of the tune that takes you to the Hoover Dam, Mt. Rushmore, the Golden Gate and the Empire State. Written by Phil Barton, Victoria Banks, Lindsay Rimes and Emily Shackelton, “Winnebago” shows off Stephanie’s adventurous, all-American roots as she head out on the ultimate cross-country road trip.

“Hop on in to my Winnebago / We’re gonna go wherever the wind blows / watch the world fly by out the window / anywhere we are, we’re already at home / North to South, coast to coast / wherever these wheels roll / So, hop on in to my Winnebago / oh, oh, oh let’s go-o-o,” Stephanie croons in the chorus.

Kip Moore Sounds Off On Social Media: “You Don’t Need All the Plush Bull@#$% You’ve Been Brainwashed to Desire.”

When it comes to speaking his mind, Kip Moore has no problem doing so. The “More Girls Like You” singer has apparently been reflecting on life these past few months, during his break from country music and the road.

Kip posted pictures from his journey, as he traveled around the globe. The latest set of photos come from a trip to Iceland, where Kip says he felt close to God. “So long Iceland..never felt more close to God. Till next time..@lifeinrewindfilms,” he posted.

But it was Kip’s post today (March 15), attached to a picture of his silhouette on a beach in front of the sunset, that finds the 36-year-old sounding off. Kip took time to address his followers about taking advantage of life and not getting bogged down with material things in life. Here’s what he said.

“At 21 I had never really seen anything other than the southern portion of the states (beautiful but knew there were other places to see). No one ever talked about getting out & experiencing anything other than what they grew up in, so I knew if I wanted to it would probably be a solo deal at first. I had 1,500 dollars saved up from a summer job after graduation & booked a 1 way flight to Hawaii. I lived on a porch & in a tent for close to a year, completely out of my comfort zone & I’ve been chasing that feelin ever since. You don’t need all the plush bullshit you’ve been brainwashed to desire. That shit keeps you strapped from what’s real. People always tell me I wish I could go see stuff & I say well then go. “Well I’m always kinda tight on $”.. Hey I got an idea sell that Mercedes & 4,000 square foot house you can barely afford that you think defines you, get a damn Kia, a smaller house, book a hostile and GO! You don’t get a re-do. You get 1 lap and that shit is over…@lifeinrewindfilms.”

While some may not agree with Kip’s view, he does make a valid point.

Watch Lauren Alaina Do Her Best Britney Spears Impersonation

In the late 1990’s Britney Spears was a force to be reckoned with and almost every little girl had a dream to be just like the pop superstar. Well, it turns out that Lauren Alaina, born in 1994, was one of those little girls.

Apparently, in her down time, the American Idol runner-up created a video of herself lip-syncing to Britney’s “Baby One More Time,” complete with midriff-baring shirt and side braids.

The kicker is, Lauren’s band mates had to play the part of her backup dancers and their moves are one for the books.

“This is a video of all my childhood dreams coming true,” Lauren captioned the post. “I even did the braids. @britneyspears @mccoy.gibbs @ticomanproductions @thenashvillebassist.”

Lauren is proof that dreams do come true.

Check out the hilarious video as Lauren dances to Britney’s “Baby One More Time.”

Jason Isbell Readies June Release of New Album, “The Nashville Sound”

Jason Isbell Readies June Release of New Album, “The Nashville Sound”

Singer/songwriter/musician—and all-around bad mo-fo—Jason Isbell has a new album in the works, The Nashville Sound.

The new 10-song offering, which is scheduled to drop on June 16, addresses a range of real-life subjects, according to the press release, including politics and cultural privilege (“White Man’s World”), longing nostalgia (“The Last of My Kind”), love and mortality (“If We Were Vampires”), the toxic effect of today’s pressures (“Anxiety”), the remnants of a break-up (“Chaos and Clothes”) and finding hope (“Something to Love”). Songs such as “Cumberland Gap” and “Hope the Highroad” find Jason and his bandmates going back to their rock roots full force.

The new studio album will reunite Jason will his band, the 400 Unit (Derry deBorja, Chad Gamble, Jimbo Hart, Amanda Shires and Sadler Vaden), for their first project together since 2011’s Here We Rest.

Dave Cobb, who produced Jason’s previous albums Southeastern (2013) and Something More Than Free (2015), will also helm The Nashville Sound.

In addition to a busy tour schedule this summer, Jason will headline Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium for five dates in October, before heading overseas to Europe for more than a dozen dates. Tickets for the Ryman shows go on sale on March 17 at 10 a.m. CT.

Watch Cam’s Standup Rendition of the Tammy Wynette Classic, “Stand By Your Man”

Cam has had a busy week across the pond performing in London, Glasgow and Dublin during the fifth annual Country 2 Country festival.

In addition to her trifecta of performances for the European crowds, the California native made time to stop by BBC Radio’s The Chris Evans Breakfast Show, where she serenaded the morning crew with a standup rendition of Tammy Wynette’s “Stand by Your Man,” a song that Tammy took to the top of the charts in 1968.

Fresh off his win for ACM New Male Vocalist of the Year, Jon Pardi made his late night television debut performing, “Dirt On My Boots,” on Late Night With Seth Meyers Tuesday night (March 14).

The California native has been on a roll as of late, not only receiving an ACM win, but scoring his second consecutive No. 1 hit with “Dirt On My Boots,” from his No. 1 debut album, California Sunrise, and follow up to his previous No. 1 “Head Over Boots.”

“Having two back-to-back No. 1s is unbelievable,” Jon said in a statement. “It’s been so great to have an album people believe in.”

No, Sam Hunt Is Not Married Yet. Yes, He Will Be Married Soon. New Speculation: Does Sam Believe He’s Sitting in an Invisible Snow Canoe?

Sam Hunt created a winter vortex of speculation over the weekend by posting a picture of himself playing in the snow with . . . gasp . . . a wedding ring on his left hand. But no one has been talking about what was in Sam’s right hand: a canoe paddle. I’ll get to that in a minute, but first, back to the ring.

It turns out, Sam hasn’t tied the knot with fiancée Hannah Lee Fowler yet.

Sam told CMT’s Cody Alan that he already feels like a married man and likes wearing the ring, even though the actual wedding is still several weeks away.

Now, let’s find something else to speculate about. How about, does Sam believe he is sitting in an invisible snow canoe? Discuss.

Miranda Lambert isn’t the only country star who likes a nice travel trailer (you may recall Miranda purchased a beautifully restored 1961 Shasta canned ham trailer in 2015). Reba McEntire has a new set of tow-worthy wheels courtesy of Ronnie Dunn, who restored a 1988 Excello caravan with the help of one of his friends.

Ronnie posted a pic of the Excello on Instagram yesterday (March 14) with the caption: “Reba Nell’s 1988 vintage Excello is finally ready…wait ’til you see the inside. We rebuilt it from the outside in. Thanks to my good partner in crime, Greg Vaughn.”

Perhaps Ronnie’s gift is a “thank you” to Reba for orchestrating their Las Vegas residency, Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas. Regardless, it’s a pretty sweet set of wheels.

@reba the vintage @Airstream is all done. Let's take it to your lake so you can try it out. RD

Josh Turner Chooses “The Bachelor” Winner By Her Photo

Josh Turner Chooses “The Bachelor” Winner By Her Photo

As snow fell on New York City Tuesday morning (March 14), Josh Turner braved the wintry weather to fulfill his role as co-host of the fourth hour of the Today show.

The “Hometown Girl” singer, admittedly not an avid viewer of The Bachelor reality series, was tasked with recapping the season finale along with co-host Jenna Bush Hager and writer/producer Amanda Avery.  In the show’s finale, bachelor Nick Viall chose Vanessa Grimaldi to be his fiancée over runner-up Raven Gates.

Surprisingly—at the beginning of the segment—Josh was asked to choose which bachelorette Nick would end up picking, just by looking at the finalists pictures. The baritone singer nailed it, picking Vanessa as the winner. Perhaps Josh’s next stop should be Las Vegas.

Watch as Josh feigns interest about The Bachelor season finale.
