Gyro Heroes: Watch Luke Bryan and Jimmy Fallon Sing the Praises of Lamb Meat in Hilarious Video

Last night (March 13), Luke Bryan showed off his acting and singing chops on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

During a skit, Luke and Jimmy traverse the streets of NYC before stopping at a street vendor to order lunch. While Jimmy successfully orders the falafel, sheepish Luke struggles to pronounce “gyro” and ultimately gives up his quest for food. Luke is visibly upset as Jimmy tries to console him.

Cut to the studio, and we see that Luke has crafted a new song—“I Don’t Know How to Pronounce Gyro”—that he duets with Jimmy.

It sounds like the boys have a hit on their hands, with delicious lyrics like “I just want something to eat, made with a vertical rotisserie of lamb meat” and “It’s just lamb meat and other stuff, rolled up in a pita, I wished they just called it a lamb-topped tzatziki wrap, I could eat 1,000 ounces, if I just knew how to pronounce it.”

Darius Rucker and John Mellencamp crossed paths for an upcoming episode of CMT Crossroads that will air on March 24 at 10 p.m. ET. The episode was filmed at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena in front of a live audience on Feb. 24.

The rocking tandem collaborated on a number of hits from both of their catalogs, including “Cherry Bomb,” “Wagon Wheel,” “Alright” and “Pink Houses,” which John took to No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart in 1983.

Reba Plays Tourist During Her Trip to Scotland and London for C2C Festival

Country artists descended on Europe over the weekend (March 10-12) to be a part of Country 2 Country—a.k.a. C2C—a multi-night country music festival that takes place in European cities London, Glasgow and Dublin.

2017 marked the fifth year of the festival and included artists Maren Morris, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Cam, Chris Young, Jennifer Nettles, Zac Brown, Dan + Shay, Hunter Hayes, Cassadee Pope, Marty Stuart, Brothers Osborne and Reba McEntire.

But it was Reba who used the visit to check out the sites and play tourist over the weekend. After performing in Las Vegas as part of the Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas residency, Reba hightailed it over to Scotland for some fun, and of course, work too.

The superstar took to her Instagram account to keep us updated on her travels. Beginning in Scotland, Reba enjoyed traveling on the Edinburgh train, posing with a man in a kilt and finding Jamie Fraser’s house in Outlander. Then it was off to London for some high tea and a performance.

“Thanks so much London for the super hospitality,” Reba said in the post. “What a wonderful audience! Thanks BBC Radio 2 Country!! And I got to meet @luciesilvas who wrote Hallelujah Amen for my Sing It Now CD. A great night!! #c2c2017london #bbcradio2country”

Dolly Parton has always been very “animated.” But today (March 13), she gave new meaning to the word.

On today’s episode of Lily’s Driftwood Bay, Dolly voiced an animated chicken named Nolene, a famous country music-singing fowl who becomes stranded on Driftwood Bay.

Lily’s Driftwood Bay is a preschool mixed-media animated show on Sprout, NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment’s 24-hour preschool network. It stars 5-year-old Lily who lives in a beach hut with her dad. Every day, the sea washes up a curious new treasure that sparks Lily’s imagination about what might be happening across the way on Driftwood Bay.

“Nolene is a very famous chicken, probably one of the most famous chickens ever there was,” says Dolly in a promo video. “And Nolene gets kinda boat-wrecked, if you will, and she washes up on Driftwood Bay. And so she’s trying to get Salty [dog] to go with her on the road on tour. Now, whether he does, or whether he doesn’t, you’re just going to have to watch and see.”

Jon Pardi Stomps to His Second Consecutive Billboard No. 1 Single With “Dirt on My Boots”

The secret to Jon Pardi’s success may be his boots.

The California native scored his second consecutive No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with “Dirt on My Boots,” the follow-up to his previous No. 1, “Head Over Boots.”

“Dirt on My Boots,” written by Rhett Akins, Jesse Frasure and Ashley Gorley, is the second single from Jon’s No. 1 album, California Sunrise, which was released in June 2016.

“Having two back-to-back No. 1s is unbelievable,” said Jon. “It’s been so great to have an album people believe in.”

Be sure to catch Jon on Late Night With Seth Meyers on March 14 as he makes his late-night television debut. Jon is also nominated for New Male Vocalist of the Year at the 52nd annual ACM Awards on April 2.

Maren Morris’ breakout album, Hero, landed on many of 2016’s Best Of lists and earned nominations for ACM, CMA and Grammy awards for Album of the Year. But Maren isn’t resting on her laurels when it comes to her major-label debut album. The “My Church” singer has announced that she will be releasing a deluxe version of Hero on March 17.

The deluxe edition will feature three new songs, all co-written by Maren, that were not included on the original version: “Bummin’ Cigarettes,” “Space” and “Company You Keep.” Fans of Maren will no doubt be familiar with the tunes, because the Texas native performs them during her concert sets.

Additionally, Maren has announced that she will be taking her successful headlining Hero Tour overseas to the UK and Ireland. The tour will kick off on Nov. 12 at Dublin Academy, making stops at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire and Bristol Anson Rooms. Opening act for the overseas leg will be Maren’s boyfriend, Ryan Hurd. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 17, the same day HERO Deluxe is available.
