Watch Blake Shelton Sing “Livin’ on a Prayer” With Chelsea Handler in New Trailer for Upcoming Season of “Carpool Karaoke”

Carpool Karaoke released a new trailer for its upcoming season and it features a lot of star power, including Blake Shelton, Will Smith, John Legend, Alicia Keys and more. The new show is based on The Late Late Show’s viral videos starring James Corden, who hosts a singalong in his car with a celebrity while they drive around Los Angeles.

While the new show borrows James’ concept, it will primarily feature celebrities who are paired together sans James—although James makes at least one appearance with Will Smith aboard a helicopter as they sing “I Believe I Can Fly.”

On the country music front, Blake Shelton is paired with Chelsea Handler, and it doesn’t look like they do much driving. A clip from the trailer shows the pair drinking at a bar and singing Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

The first season of Carpool Karaoke, which will feature 16 celebrity pairings, will stream on Apple Music. No release date has been announced yet.

Blake Shelton Named “Greatest Guy Ever” By Girlfriend Gwen Stefani

Blake Shelton Named “Greatest Guy Ever” By Girlfriend Gwen Stefani

If there was ever any doubt about what a great guy Blake Shelton is, Gwen Stefani removed all of it when she made an appearance on the Today Show this morning (Feb. 15).

The pop star visited the morning show to promote the return of Season 12 of The Voice on Monday (Feb. 20), for which she is back as a coach with her boyfriend, Blake Shelton.  As Gwen went on to describe the chemistry of the judges, she couldn’t help but compliment her boyfriend, Blake.

“The chemistry between the coaches—I mean Alicia Keys is just so magical, Adam and I, we know each other now for a while and of course, Blake, who I think is the greatest guy ever—it’s just so fun,” Gwen said to hosts Matt Lauer and Carson Daly.

There you have it— Blake Shelton is the greatest guy ever. But she’s not telling us anything we didn’t already know. While the couple have been dating for more than  year now, Gwen was a little apprehensive about filming the reality show with Blake.

“I was nervous at first—’wait is this going to be awkward, how am I going to act?’ But It’s just natural,” Gwen said of working together. “I feel like sometimes it is a little bit like —Ok, we’re driving home, ‘Well, do you think I should put them together? Wait a minute, I’m not going to talk to you about this. I don’t know if you are the enemy.’ It’s confusing, you know.”

Watch as Gwen talks about the new season of The Voice and spending Valentine’s Day apart from Blake.

Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Thomas Rhett, Little Big Town & More Get Their Grooves On During Bee Gees Tribute

I got a Saturday Night Fever and the only prescription is more Bee Gees.

Artists from all genres of music spread the Bee Gees love last night (Feb. 14) during the taping of an upcoming TV special, Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Bee Gees.

Barry Gibb, the only surviving brother of the Bee Gees trio, was front row for the celebration of the 40-year anniversary of 1977’s Saturday Night Fever, a film that helped make John Travolta a star. The Bee Gees wrote and performed eight of the songs on the movie’s soundtrack, including “Stayin’ Alive,” “How Deep Is Your Love” and “Night Fever.”

An all-star cast of performers took part in the tribute, including Keith Urban (“To Love Somebody”), Little Big Town (“How Deep Is Your Love”) and Kelsea Ballerini and Thomas Rhett (“Islands in the Stream”).

Stayin’ Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Bee Gees will air on Easter Sunday, April 16, on CBS.

Check out the set list.

Watch Dan + Shay Cover Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road”

The guys from Dan + Shay were back in front of the camera yesterday (Feb. 14) for a YouTube cover of Sam Hunt’s “Body Like a Back Road.”

With Dan strumming the guitar and Shay tickling the ivory and singing, the duo performed an abridged version of Sam’s tune, which is currently No. 21 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The single, which Sam co-wrote with Zach Crowell, Josh Osborne and Shane McAnally, is part of Sam’s plan to release new music as he finishes it, instead of delaying the release to make it part of a larger project.

Watch Dan + Shay tackle the new tune below.

Ribs, Caviar, Million-Dollar Yachts? Just Another Day for Kenny Chesney, Sammy Hagar & Emeril Lagasse

Ribs, Caviar, Million-Dollar Yachts? Just Another Day for Kenny Chesney, Sammy Hagar & Emeril Lagasse

While rocker Sammy Hagar and celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse were cruising the high seas off the coast of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Saturday (Feb. 11) during Emeril’s inaugural charity fishing tournament, they happened upon Kenny Chesney on a multi-million-dollar Riva Virtus yacht.

According to a post on Sammy’s website, it was an opportunity the Red Rocker couldn’t pass up.

An hour into the boat ride we saw this big gorgeous gunmetal gray 86ft Riva with a few beautiful people on it—I looked closer and noticed it was Kenny Chesney! I screamed at him and he stopped, backed up, and we had a couple high-fives, a toast, and Emeril handed over to Kenny a big plate of barbecue ribs and a jar of about a half pound of beautiful caviar—can you believe this sh*t!? We said goodbye and then Kenny showed up at the event later that night at the Marina Club House, and jumped on stage to sing a really soft version of “Eagles Fly.” Vic and I played an acoustic set for over an hour, and Kari joined in for “One Sip,” “When the Sun Don’t Shine,” and “All We Need Is An Island”—it was an unbelievably satisfying and successful event!

Afterwards, Kenny hung out and we polished off a couple bottles of Da’ kine, what a night!

According to Forbes, Kenny raked in around $56 million last year, so he can afford a nice vacation.

Watch Easton Corbin Channel His Inner Tabloid Talk Show Host During Concert

Easton Corbin had a little fun during his show at the Hard Rock in Northfield, Ohio, on Feb. 11 by channeling his inner tabloid talk show host.

Two fan club members, Cory and Amanda, requested that Easton reveal the sex of their forthcoming baby in a Maury Povich-like manner. Happy to oblige, Easton took a break during his set to reveal the baby’s sex, even joking that “[Cory and Amanda] wanted everyone here to find out at the same time who the father . . . I mean—I’m joking—what the sex of the baby is.”

Check out Easton’s revelation.

Joey+Rory’s Rory Feek talks Grammy Win, Losing His Wife and Raising Their 3-Year-Old Daughter, Indiana: “We’re Doing Well”

Joey+Rory’s Rory Feek talks Grammy Win, Losing His Wife and Raising Their 3-Year-Old Daughter, Indiana: “We’re Doing Well”

Fresh off his Grammy win for Best Roots Gospel Album on Sunday night (Feb. 11), Rory Feek headed across the country to New York City for a visit with Matt Lauer on the Today show to talk about the Grammy win, moving on after the loss of his wife, Joey Martin Feek, and raising their 3-year-old daughter.

Rory briefly talked with Matt about winning the Grammy Award for an album he made with his wife Joey called Hymns.

“My first thought was, ‘Really? Really?’ because it’s been an amazing year for the album,” Rory said. “We knew it would be special for us, but I don’t think we had any idea of how special it would be for other people and where it would lead.”

Rory lost his wife, Joey, in 2016 when she passed away from ovarian cancer at the age of 40, leaving behind a 2-year-old daughter, Indiana, who was born with Down syndrome. Rory, who has been raising the little girl, has been keeping the world informed of their progress on his blog This Life I Live and shared with Matt just how little Indiana has been getting along.

“We’re doing well,” Rory says. “She turns 3 this Friday [Feb. 17]. So as exciting as the Grammy’s are, that’s a little more exciting for us. She started taking steps and she really took about eight steps at her little school—she goes to a special needs school in Nashville. I told her ‘I’m so proud of you, Indy,’ because she’s turning 3. I said, ‘A lot of kids don’t learn to walk until they’re 1 [laughs]’. It’s amazing especially when you take the pressure off the expectations so if they can just do it the way that they need to do it and we just celebrate it, it doesn’t feel late.”

Rory goes on to talk about Joey still being present in his life and the struggles they had in their marriage. Check out the interview with Rory on the Today show.
