It was just a week ago that Justin Moore expanded his family by two, when he added two Great Danes, Johnny and June, to his household. Now, the singer is again announcing that his family will grow even bigger—and not because of animals. Justin and his wife, Kate, are expecting their fourth child.
Justin took to his Instagram account to let fans know about the news.
“Kate and I would like to let all of you know that we will be adding to our family, once again,” Justin posted to his Instagram. “No more dogs, thankfully! Haha. We are thrilled to announce that we will be having our fourth child in June. To have the opportunity to become parents again is such a blessing and one we are so thankful to God for. We pray for a healthy baby boy or girl. Our three daughters are super excited, as are we.”
The new baby will be joining older sisters Ella, 6, Kennedy, 5, and Rebecca, 2. Perhaps Justin’s fourth child will be a little boy, making the odds of him winning an argument just a little better. Congratulations to Justin and his growing family.
With openers Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi in tow, Dierks Bentley kicked off his What the Hell Tour last night (Jan. 19) to a sold-out crowd in Dayton, Ohio. In addition to the previously announced 40-plus tour dates, Dierks revealed that the tour will extend well into the summer with 31 new dates, inducing stops in Atlanta, Chicago, San Diego and Denver.
“The show last night—and even just being with Cole and Pardi hanging offstage the last few days—has me so pumped for the rest of this year,” said Dierks. “There’s not a cooler feeling in the world than the love that country music fans pour out every night when you’re laying it all out on the stage. They are having the time of their lives, and we’re all just getting lost in it together. I can’t wait to bring that back to Nashville tomorrow night and celebrate with all our friends and family at home. The guys and I are never going to forget this tour and these fans and all the people helping us live out our dreams every night.”

Look out America, here comes Wynonna Judd. The “When Love Starts Talking” singer has announced that she will be hitting the road with her band, The Big Noise, for her 2017 Roots and Revival Tour.
The tour, which will kick off in March and make stops in Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Annapolis, Md., is in support of her current album, Wynonna & The Big Noise, released in February 2016. Fans can expect to hear a wide range of songs from Wynonna’s varied 33-year career.
“My roots are firmly planted in country music,” said Wynonna in a statement. “But I was given wings, and I’m grateful that my fans have allowed me the freedom to sing the music that I love.”

It was a standing-room-only crowd at Nashville’s 3rd & Lindsley when Cumulus Nashville’s radio hosts Ty Bentli, Kelly Ford and Chuck Wicks—hosts of syndicated radio show Mornings With Ty, Kelly & Chuck—took the stage at Nash 103.3’s Rhythm & Boots concert to introduce country superstar Jason Aldean on Jan. 18.
Fans flocked to the venue as Jason, with special guest Michael Tyler, performed his biggest hits, including “Dirt Road Anthem,” “My Kinda Party” and “Fly Over States,” in front of the sold-out crowd. The event, which benefited Musicians On Call—an organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities—raised $16,000 for the charity.
In addition to Jason’s performance, the evening featured an autographed guitar auction and a Q&A with the headliner, with questions submitted from the audience.
“Musicians On Call is thrilled with the partnership with Rhythm & Boots,” said Pete Griffin, president of Musicians On Call. “The funds raised will deliver the healing power of music to patients in healthcare facilities around Nashville.”
The fashions and hairstyles of the 1980 film 9 to 5 may have dated over the last 37 years, but the bond that the film’s stars—Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin—formed on set have not.
The 9 to 5 stars will reunite at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Jan. 29 as Dolly and Jane present Lily with the SAG Life Achievement Award. Following in the footsteps of thespian luminaries Gregory Peck, Audrey Hepburn, Carol Burnett and more, Lily has been named the 53rd recipient of the SAG’s highest tribute for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment.
The 23rd annual SAG Awards will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 29, at 8 p.m. ET.
Following his debut on Austin City Limits in 2010, Texas native Hayes Carll returned to the ACL stage in 2016 in support of his new album, Lovers and Leavers. In addition to playing many of his crowd-favorites for the ACL crowd, including “Bad Liver and a Broken Heart” and “Jesus and Elvis,” Hayes treated fans to a handful of tunes from his new album, including “Love Is So Easy,” “The Magic Kid,” “The Love That We Need” and “Sake of the Song.”
“Sake of the Song,” which was written by Hayes and Darrell Scott—and borrows its title from Townes Van Zandt’s 1968 “For the Sake of the Song”—delves into the hardships that songwriters endure to craft a song and live the troubadour lifestyle.
Before playing “Sake of the Song” on ACL, Hayes dedicated the tune to Townes, who he called the “lion of the songwriting world.”

What does this prove? Nothing. While many of the artists may be Trump supporters, there are probably plenty who just want to stay up to date with his many tweets (good luck), as well as some detractors who want to fan their flames of disgust.

If you follow Kelsea Ballerini’s every move on social media, you might be at a loss for the next two weeks. Country’s current “It” girl has announced that she is taking a break from social media outlets, including Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook, to put her creative inspiration to good use.
The “Yeah Boy” singer will be going underground to write, record and complete her highly-anticipated new album. With a simple post and a picture of a sunset, she let her fans know of her upcoming absence.
“Spent the last month traveling for both work and play and have seen some of the most beautiful beaches, sunsets, and starry skies I’ve ever experienced,” she said in her post. “My creativity and inspiration are bursting at the seams as I head home to Nashville, and for the next 2 weeks i’m going to dive into that and see what I can find. so, as I create, write, and finish my record, I’m going to take a little break from social media. I want to make sure that every second is spent with intention and focus so I can make something beautiful to share with you guys when it’s ready and when I’m ready. I love you guys and appreciate your support and love and excitement more than you know and will be back soooooon. Til then, my team will be covering any announcements or social commitments on my twitter & facebook. LOVE YOU.”
This move is a very similar one to that of Miss Taylor Swift, who Kelsea admires and receives advice from. Taylor has been known to disappear from social media when creating her new music, which has worked out pretty well for the superstar—there might be something to that. And she’s not the only one. Basketball champion LeBron James steps away from the virtual community right before playoff games to concentrate —making Kelsea’s departure not so uncommon.
We will bid Kelsea adieu for now, but we expect the Tennessee native back on Feb. 2, exactly two weeks from today.
Dolly Parton is celebrating her 71st birthday today (Jan. 19). In honor of the momentous occasion, we’re throwing it back on Thursday with a gallery of 25 Country Weekly magazines in which Dolly graced the cover.
Justin Moore may have traded in the traditional country setting for a psychedelic club atmosphere in his new video for “Somebody Else Will,” but he didn’t trade in his signature cowboy hat for the shoot.
When Justin was looking to do something a little different for his current video, he called on friend and director Shane Drake to take the helm.
“Shane and I have worked together a lot throughout my career,” said Justin. “He always does a great job of getting shots of me that portray the music and that’s a talent.”
Shane was set on bringing the words of the song to life for the latest project. “Cause somebody else will / If I don’t walk up and ask you your name / Right now, offer to buy you a drink / Sit down and tell you your looks could kill / Somebody else will,” sings Justin in the chorus.
“This song is super freaking cool and for this shoot day I really wanted to match that with the visuals. We are in a VIP underground club that has a futuristic/neon/Blade Runner vibe, which you don’t typical associate with country.”
“‘Somebody Else Will’ is, I think, an example of one of the moments where on the Kinda Don’t Care album, we kinda step outside of our comfort zone,” Justin says in the behind-the-scenes video. “It’s a little bit different for us. I’ve talked about, with this particular album, wanting to take a step maybe that we haven’t yet in our career—with the music that we recorded for it—and this is one of those songs that hopefully allows us to do that.”
