Luke Bryan Gears Up for Farm Tour With New Video for “Here’s to the Farmer”

As Luke Bryan gears up his tractor for his eight annual Farm Tour on Oct. 8, he has greased the wheels by releasing the title track to the tour’s accompanying EP, Farm Tour . . . Here’s to the Farmer, which is set to drop on Sept. 23.

The video for “Here’s to the Farmer” gives viewers a glimpse of how Luke rolls during his Farm Tours. Video footage shows stages getting built, attendees racing for spots on the lawn, Luke burning up the stage and more.

Luke will visit eight farming communities on this year’s annual tour, which kicks off in Gaston, S.C., on Oct. 5, and will include a rotating lineup of openers, including Chris Janson, the Peach Pickers, Granger Smith and Jon Langston.

Chris Young Teases Duet With Alan Jackson (We Think) on New Christmas Album

Chris Young Teases Duet With Alan Jackson (We Think) on New Christmas Album

Chris Young’s first-ever holiday album, It Must Be Christmas, is set to drop on Oct. 14. While Chris has remained pretty tight-lipped about the songs and guest artists featured on the album, he did tease the song “There’s a New Kid in Town” on Twitter this morning, and it sounds like Alan Jackson has made a guest appearance.

Chris sat down with Nash Country Daily last week and mentioned that his favorite Christmas album as a child was Alan Jackson’s 1993 Honky Tonk Christmas.

“Yeah, definitely I have a favorite holiday album,” says Chris. “There’s a whole album to me, and I’ve referenced it a lot, but that Alan Jackson Christmas record to me was great—it was that and the Beach Boys’ Christmas album. Those two things had to be played or it wasn’t Christmastime at my house. That was it. I can tell you I did not cut this, but the one that always makes me laugh is Alan’s ‘Please Daddy, Don’t Get Drunk This Christmas.’ I was actually walking through a supermarket singing it at as a kid at one point. My mom was like, ‘You have to stop singing that. People are going to think there’s something wrong.'”

With Headlining Tour and Upcoming Marriage, Cam Closes in on Completing Her Bucket List

After serving as an opener for Brad Paisley and Dierks Bentley on their headlining tours, Cam will see her name at the top of the marquee when she kicks off her 13-date Burning House Tour in October. With the headlining gig, the bubbly, yellow-clad singer is coming close to completing her bucket list—at least that’s what she says with an affable laugh.

“My own tour is all I’ve ever wanted,” says Cam to Nash Country Daily. “Well, I mean, I sang with Eric Church already and I met Dolly Parton, and now I get my own tour. When I get married, my bucket list is done [laughing].”

And there’s good news for Cam on the marriage front. After getting engaged to Adam Weaver in July 2015, Cam is busy planning her big day—actually, her sister is doing most of the planning for her.

“Yeah, my sister is helping out a ton,” says Cam. “Because I don’t have quite as much time as I’d like, and a wedding sort of adds on a lot. So you have to find help, and I’m really lucky that I have her.”

As far as her new tour, the “Burning House” singer is promising a magical experience.

“The tour is going to be amazing,” says Cam. “From the videos and our imaginations, we get to create this beautiful setting. The band has a super-tight vibe, and we are going to make a full-on Cam-country vibe. It will give everyone an escape for a little while. It’s going to be magical.”

“Introverted” Aubrie Sellers Is Feeling More Comfortable as Debut Album Gets Major-Label Re-Release

“Introverted” Aubrie Sellers Is Feeling More Comfortable as Debut Album Gets Major-Label Re-Release

Fusing a classic voice with raw rock, Aubrie Sellers released her critically acclaimed debut album, New City Blues, via an indie label in January. Since then, the self-proclaimed “garage country” artist has been on the road, opening for red-hot Chris Stapleton as well as headlining her own gigs.

“I have never toured this much before, so I’ve only been home for a couple of weeks in the past five or six months,” says Aubrie during a morning sit-down with Nash Country Daily. “That’s the biggest change. Over the last year, I’ve become more and more comfortable onstage. I’ve learned a lot about performing and being comfortable onstage. I’m pretty introverted, so I’ve learned how to talk to people, and all of that. It does not come natural for me to be the center of attention, per se. I mean, I love making music and singing and connecting with people in that way, but I’ve never been a person that loves to talk about myself. I’m learning.”

Aubrie’s onstage extroversion is paying off and the country music industry has taken notice. Last month, Aubrie signed with major label Atlantic/Warner Music Nashville and recently announced she will re-release her debut album on Sept. 30. The new deluxe version of New City Blues will feature Aubrie’s original 14 songs as well as two covers: The Zombies’ “The Way I Feel Inside” and The Beach Boys’ “In My Room.”

“I put New City Blues out independently, originally, and I just signed on with Warner Brothers about a month ago,” says Aubrie, who is the daughter of Lee Ann Womack and singer/songwriter Jason Sellers. “I wasn’t expecting all that to happen so fast. The reason I released my record independently and was on the road and doing all this stuff was because I wanted to stand alone and stand out and be myself and do things on my own. I think people are always going to bring up [my mother] and draw those connections. Obviously—and we live in the Google age—it’s not like you can’t type my name in and figure out everything about me. I’m very proud of my heritage. My mom was always 100 percent focused on the music, and it’s something I’ve learned from her. There’s no way to hide from it. I love my parents, but what I do is very different and I try to separate myself. People will say, ‘Are you going to get up and sing one of your mom songs?’ ‘Are you going to go on the road with your mom?’ I’m like, ‘No. I like doing my own thing.’”

Aubrie will continue to do her own thing when she joins Tucker Beathard’s Rock On College Tour this fall. She’s also slated for upcoming performances at Las Vegas’ Route 91 Fest, Austin’s ACL Festival and Nashville’s Americana Music Fest.

Check out Aubrie’s Grand Ole Opry performance of “Sit Here and Cry,” her upcoming single (Oct. 17) from New City Blues.

Jana Kramer Steams Up Dance Floor With Sexy Viennese Waltz on “Dancing With the Stars”

Jana Kramer Steams Up Dance Floor With Sexy Viennese Waltz on “Dancing With the Stars”

It was only the first night (Sept. 12) of Season 23 of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, but Jana Kramer was already heating up the dance floor with a sensual Viennese waltz.

Jana, who is partnered with Gleb Savchenko, looked stunning in a long black lace gown with mile-high slits that showed off her toned legs. The couple strutted their stuff to Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” and when they were done the chemistry between the two was palpable.

jana_kramer_gleb_dwts“We’ll pause briefly for our affiliates to take cold showers,” said DWTS host Tom Bergeron, as the couple awaited their scores.

The responses from the judges were no different. “That was the raunchiest, sexiest, hottest Viennese waltz I’ve ever seen,” said judge Bruno Tonioli. “I cannot wait to see your rumba, it’s going to be explosive.”

Judge Carrie Anne Inaba could barely find the words to describe the dance. “It certainly wasn’t a traditional Viennese waltz,” she stammered. “I’m going to say maybe you guys don’t have to work on sexiness anymore because that’s definitely like—check!”

But then there was good ol’ Len Goodman, the eldest judge, who wasn’t exceptionally thrilled with the dance. “It was all too dramatic. Viennese waltz is a soft, flowing dance. You’ve got so much talent, so much potential—it was just, for me, pitched a bit funny.”

When the scores were finally announced, Gleb and Jana received a total of 27 out of 40 points—placing them in the middle of the pack—receiving a 7 from Carrie Ann, a 6 from Len, a 6 from Julianne Hough and a whopping 8 from Bruno, who seemed to enjoy the dance a little too much.

In the end Jana was just glad to get through the dance and is looking forward to moving ahead. “I think this show will help me let my guard down,” Jana said. “My personal life kind of took a hit. I have recently separated from my husband. I really think this process is going to be a huge healing experience for me.”

To keep Jana dancing on the show, call 1-800-868-3406 to vote immediately following the airing of the show or vote online up to 24 hours after the show. You can see Jana and Gleb do their thing on Dancing With The Stars each Monday and Tuesday night at 8/7 CT on ABC.

Watch Sara Evans Win $25,000 for Charity on “Celebrity Family Feud”

Sara Evans stopped by ABC’s Celebrity Family Feud Sunday night (Sept. 11) to help raise money for her favorite charity—St. Jude Children’s hospital.

sara-evans-celebrity-family-feud-teamsSara and her siblings —Jay Evans, Matt Evans, Lesley Lyons and Ashley Simpson— took on Todd Chrisley, of Chrisley Knows Best, and his family.

After falling behind in the early rounds, the Evans siblings made their move in the double and triple rounds to advance to the Fast Money round. That’s when Sara and her brother Jay crushed it. Jay went first scoring 190 of the 200 points needed to win. Sara then needed a whopping 10 points to make sure the $25,000 went to St. Jude Children’s hospital.

“Listen to me— that’s incredible,” Sara said of her brothers score. “But can you imagine if I don’t get ten points. That is even more pressure.” Sara came through and got the ten points with ease.

“This time last year, we had a scare,” said Blake. “And, we didn’t know what was going going to happen. And, you can see that she’s here right now . . . [Jimmy Everest Children’s Hospital doesn’t] turn any kids away. You come in there, you have a problem, they don’t turn anybody away, so I thought ‘That’s a place that needs some money. Let’s all do the right thing.’ This is our money, Oklahoma.”

Over the course of the two shows, Blake played a number of his hits and was joined onstage by girlfriend Gwen Stefani to sing their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart,” while RaeLynn handled the opening act duties.

Blake remains on his Fall Tour through October.
