Ryan Hurd Drops the Music Video for His Single “Pass It On”

Ryan Hurd‘s current single at country radio, “Pass It On,” is from his album, Pelago.

Ryan shares the story behind the song, “I wrote ‘Pass It On’ with Jordan Schmidt and my wife Maren Morris and Hardy. Originally it was a an idea we were kind of angling toward Maren’s third album. And as the song kind of got moving, we kind of found Michael (Hardy) to be singing more of it. And so it sort of felt more like it was more of a song for a guy to sing. And so somehow it fell, out of the three artists in the room, it fell to me. And I’m really thankful that it did because I love just the recording of the way that it feels and it’s I love how unabashedly positive it is and I think that’s a great way to kick off an album. Also, I love like hearing Hardy and Maren sing the background vocals on it like that, to me is really cool. And obviously neither one of them are featured and they don’t need to be. They they kind of speak for themselves but it’s just really fun to have like your friends and obviously Maren sings on a lot of the album but it’s fun to have them be a part of it.”

Tim McGraw is Reflecting on his 1883 Experience – Thanking the Cast, Crew & Fans

1883, the prequel series to Yellowstone, became must see TV on Paramount Plus when it originally aired on Sunday nights.

While Tim McGraw and Faith Hill had acting experience previously, many felt that the real life couple perfectly captured the roles of the Duttons like no one else could.

While the season is complete for 1883 – although you can still streaming it – Tim shared, “Reflecting back on all the hard work and enormous amount of talent we all got to witness in the making of 1883. Thanx to everyone who spent their Sunday nights watching with us!!”

He also provided fans with a behind the scenes video of the work that went into the series…

When it comes to what he learned from the experience of working on 1883, Tim says, “I learned that you can work through being really tired (laugh), cause it beat us up pretty good. It was a lot of hard work but it was such a gratifying experience. I think more than anything, the hard work from the crew, the hard work from the actors, I learned that it’s one of those things that you can’t show up and expect to be good. You have to put the work in and you have to put your heart and soul into something like that. And I’ve always felt like I’ve done that with every project that I’ve ever done, but I also think every project I’ve done outside of music has made me a better musician.”

So, now that he’s not in the role anymore, what does Tim miss about playing James Dutton? “Probably not talking as much, (laugh) because he was a man a few words and I kinda like that. (laugh)”

Well, Tim McGraw is doing pretty good in his day job too these days, as “7500 OBO” is climbing the country music airplay chart and working its way into the very long list of fan favorites in Tim’s catalog.

Ingrid Andress announced that her sophomore project will arrive August 26th.

The album, Good Person, will feature 12 tracks, including Ingrid’s new single “Pain.”

Ingrid will be playing these tracks – along with her other fan favorites – on Keith Urban’s The Speed Of Now tour when it continues next week in Toronto.

When it comes to her first concert, Ingrid shares who she went to see, “I went to a Metro Station concert…I don’t know if you remember them…it’s Miley Cyrus’ brother, and they have that song ‘Shake It’ and that was pretty much my jam. But that’s the only song I knew…so, I wait the whole concert for them to play the only song I knew…which was the last one.”

We’re not sure where in her setlist this one lands – but it’s Ingrid Andress’ first single from her upcoming album, Good Person – arriving August 26th – check out the music video for “Pain.”

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Tennessee head baseball coach Tony Vitello was named the Southeast Regional Coach of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association and ATEC on Tuesday after leading the Volunteers to one of their best seasons in program history.

UT’s fifth-year skipper led the Big Orange to a historic season that included a program-record 57 victories and a pair of SEC titles.

The Vols were one win away from making their second consecutive College World Series appearance and won both the SEC regular-season and SEC tournament championships for the first time since 1995. UT posted its best SEC record in program history, going 25-5 en route to winning the league’s regular-season title by six games, and the eastern division crown by 10 games, both of which are the largest margins in conference history.

Vitello also guided the program to its first No. 1 national ranking in any poll during week six of the season before settling in as the unanimous top-ranked team in week seven. UT was ranked No. 1 in at least one poll during 12 weeks of the season and spent 10 weeks as the nation’s unanimous top-ranked team.

The Big Orange recorded one of the most dominant regular seasons in the history of Division I college baseball and led the nation in numerous statistical categories while setting a handful of program records along the way, including new marks for home runs (158), runs scored (613), RBIs (574), slugging percentage (.604), ERA (2.51), WHIP (1.00), opponent batting average (.199), strikeouts (695), strikeouts/nine innings (10.5) and walks allowed/nine innings (2.48), among others.

Tennessee became the first NCAA Division I team since at least 1972 to lead the country in both home runs and ERA. The Vols’ 158 long balls shattered the previous program record of 107 while ranking fourth in NCAA Division I history, including the most by any team in the BBCOR bat era (since 2011). UT also led the country in runs scored (613), slugging percentage (.604), strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.24), WHIP (1.00), walks allowed/nine innings (2.48) and win/loss percentage (.864).

Vitello was named the Perfect Game National Coach of the Year for the second season in a row after the Vols set a program record with eight players earning postseason All-America honors, including four first-team selections, which was also a school record. Tennessee had four players earn Freshmen All-America honors, as well.

The ABCA/ATEC Regional and National Coaches of the Year are selected by members of the ABCA All-America & Coach of the Year committees in all nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division and high school.

The 2022 ABCA/ATEC National Coaches of the Year in all divisions will be announced Wednesday, June 29. The complete list of Regional Coaches of the Year can be found HERE.

SEC Announces 2022-23 Men’s Hoops Conference Opponents

The Southeastern Conference released each school’s conference opponents for the upcoming 2022-23 season Tuesday.
 
As part of the 18-game league schedule, Tennessee’s home slate features games against Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Missouri, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
 
The Vols have scheduled conference road trips at Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt.
 
In addition to its three permanent home-and-home opponents—Kentucky, South Carolina and Vanderbilt—Tennessee will also play home-and-home series against Auburn and Mississippi State during the 2022-23 season.
 
Times, dates and television information on the 2022-23 SEC schedule will be released at a later date.
 
As announced earlier this month, Tennessee’s home schedule is also set to feature a matchup with future SEC member Texas for the SEC/Big 12 Challenge on Jan. 28, 2023. The remainder of the Vols’ 2022-23 non-conference home schedule will be released at a later date.
 
Coming off a season in which it captured the SEC Tournament championship and posted a perfect 16-0 record at home, Tennessee is primed for another breakout campaign in 2022-23.
 
Returning upperclassmen Santiago Vescovi—a 2022 first-team All-SEC performer—Josiah-Jordan James, Olivier Nkamhoua and Uros Plavsic lead a group of seven returners from last season’s squad that also includes SEC All-Defensive Team selection Zakai Zeigler and rising sophomores Jonas Aidoo and Jahmai Mashack.
 
Tennessee’s returning contributors are complemented by four scholarship newcomers—transfer guard Tyreke Key along with highly-rated high school prospects B.J. Edwards, D.J. Jefferson and McDonald’s All-American Julian Phillips.
