Luke Combs is getting ready to release his new single, “The Kind Of Love We Make,” this Friday, June 17th.
He shared the single image with fans on social media today to get fans excited for when the song and music video arrive in just a couple of days.
It was last October that Luke first introduced fans to the song when he played an acoustic version of “The Kind Of Love We Make” on his bus, and shared it on socials…
“The Kind Of Love We Make” is one of the 12-tracks on Luke’s upcoming album, Growin’ Up, which arrives next Friday the 24th.
Luke’s new album also includes his latest number-one song “Doin’ This.”
Jessie James Decker‘s current single at country radio is “Should Have Known Better.”
Every song has a story behind it – and with “Should Have Known Better” – it’s all thanks to WI-FI on a plane.
Jessie shares, “The story on ‘Should Have Known Better’ is one of my favorite stories. So, I’m sitting on a plane headed to vacation with my family and I never paid for Wi-Fi because I don’t think it’s fair but I paid for the Wi-Fi…so, I’m sitting there I’m trying to get it to download it’s taking forever and finally the song downloads. I put my earphones in and my mouth hits the floor. I knew it was my 1st single right then and I was so excited…I sent it to everyone I knew and here we are.”
“Should Have Known Better” is one of the 7-tracks on Jessie James Decker’s EP, The Woman I’ve Become, which arrived last Fall.
When it comes to the music on her EP, Jessie says, “I’ve been working on the songs in this project for two years. I poured my heart into these songs, over thinking them for a year and praying about it. This is the most vulnerable I’ve ever been and the ability to be this vulnerable and open and honest is truly a representation of the woman I have become.”

Congrats to Parmalee on reaching the number-one spot on the Billboard country music airplay chart with their song “Take My Name.”
This is the second straight single from their album For You to reach number-one – after “Just The Way” (with Blanco Brown) topped the chart last year.
Talking about their single, Parmalee lead singer Matt Thomas says “‘Take My Name’ is a song about asking somebody to marry you…take my name and make it yours.”
Fans definitely latched onto that idea, and made it “their song.” They also requested a very specific version of the track, which the band was more than happy to provide.
Matt shared, “Y’all keep asking so we had to do it! Here is the wedding version of Take My Name!”
Congrats to Parmalee as they reach number-one with both versions of “Take My Name” – the studio, and the newly released wedding version…

Michael Ray‘s current single at radio, “Holy Water,” is one of the songs from his EP, Higher Education.
When Michael was putting together his project, he wanted to make sure that he had a song in there that reminded him of the music he grew up with, “I miss those old stories songs… you know what mean…like, I grew up on on those traditional country songs where there were stories songs, you know like ‘Green, Green Grass Of Home’ Porter Wagoner‘s version and all the way up to ‘Ol’ Red’ and ‘god is good, people are crazy,’ you know, there’s so many stories songs back in the day that I loved.”
But Michael also wanted that song to remind him of where he grew up in the Sunshine State, “I was like I want some grit, I want some old Florida swamp you know getting that Jacksonville Southern rock feel that just really embodied that swamp storytelling song and we got sent ‘Holy Water’ and I was like this is exactly what I had in mind.”
