Maddie & Tae’s New Album, Through The Madness Vol. 1, Available Now

Maddie & Tae‘s new album Through The Madness Vol. 1 is out now!

Talking about their new album, Maddie & Tae say, “This project is the product of finding and focusing on the beauty, love, growth, strength and wisdom you gain through the madness if you look for it…through the chaos of these past couple of years, especially these past couple of months for us, we learn time and time again that love is enough to carry us through. May this be a giant hug and hand for you to hold through the madness.”

Maddie shares, “I want fans to hear this project and feel known, seen and hopeful – those would be the things that we are going for with this project. We want to be real. I mean, there’s some heartbreakers on this project, but there are also songs to get you out of those moments. Just, our favorite thing in the world is to write real music, real lyric, and I feel like with this body of work we dug in even deeper, and I didn’t know we could go deeper. Jesus, what’s gonna happen on the next one? (TAE: “Oh Lawd.”) We’ve already been doing therapy and things, I don’t know how much deeper it gets than this, but we did. (laughs)”

Morgan Wade’s Album, Reckless (Deluxe Edition) is Out Now

Morgan Wade’s Album, Reckless (Deluxe Edition) is Out Now

Last Year Morgan Wade released her debut album Reckless, and now in 2022 she’s added 6-tracks for a Deluxe Edition of the project.

Morgan says, “We’re putting the deluxe edition of Reckless out. There was a lot of songs that didn’t make the record the first time and you know, especially ‘The Night.'”

Morgan continues, “‘The Night’ has never been on a physical copy of anything and that’s a song that means a lot to me it means a lot to the fans. So we wanted to put this out. Releasing a deluxe edition of a debut album feels great. You know, it’s not every day that you get to have such a great response for just the debut album that you get to go and add you know, six more songs to that so I’m really pumped.”

The 6-tracks added to Reckless are “The Night,” “Carry Me Home,” “When The Dirt All Settles,” “Run,” “Through Your Eyes,” and a cover of Elvis Presley’s classic “Suspicious Minds.”

Morgan says “I’m a big Elvis fan and “Suspicious Minds” is one of those songs that I really enjoy. And so I wanted to do kind of my own take on that song and we have such a good time playing it live that we decided to record it and I think it turned out really cool. It was definitely one of the more different songs I’ve done and so it just felt right to put it on the record.

Reckless (Deluxe Edition) track listing;

01) “Wilder Days”
02) “Matches And Metaphors”
03) “Other Side”
04) “Don’t Cry”
05) “Mend”
06) “Last Cigarette”
07) “Take Me Away”
08) “Reckless”
09) “Northern Air”
10) “Met You”
11) “Carry Me Home”
12) “When The Dirt All Settles”
13) “Run”
14) “The Night”
15) “Through Your Eyes”
16) “Suspicious Minds”

Morgan loves that the music she makes connects with others, “When I have big, bearded guys coming up to me crying, I know I’m not alone, and I figure anything I can do to encourage the next misfit or outcast, that’s awesome, because I had nobody who looked – or saw things – like I did when I started doing this.”

Jordan Fletcher is Singing His Truth in His Debut EP, True Stories – Available Now

Jordan Fletcher is Singing His Truth in His Debut EP, True Stories – Available Now

Jordan Fletcher‘s debut EP, True Stories, is available now.

Talking about the music on his EP, Jordan says “All of my songs are autobiographical. If I’m singing it, it will be true about me. If you watched a childhood video of me on VHS, this is what you would see. I’m not making this up or
shying away from what I believe.”

Jordan shares, “It’s an incredible blessing the way this project came out. We pulled straight from the veins on these songs and working with Dave Cobb (who produced the project) has brought out every bit of what they’re supposed to be.”

The release of Jordan’s EP follows his recent debut on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry.

Thinking back on that evening, Jordan says “Playing the Opry was far beyond anything I ever dreamed I’d get to do in this town. I got to step in the circle last week and I still can’t get my head around it. I have so many people to thank, from my team to every fan that has ever listened to my music, there’s no way I would get to do any of this without y’all so… Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Also, the whole Crew at the Grand Ole Opry made Kelly Rae Fletcher, Maverick and Me feel like family from the moment we got there, thank y’all for a night we won’t ever forget! God is good every day and I’m so thankful for this blessing.”

Thomas Rhett is Still a Happy Man 7 Years Later

Back in January 2015 Thomas Rhett co-wrote one of his biggest hits. In 2016 it hit number-one on the Billboard country airplay chart and stayed there for 6 weeks – the longest reigning chart topper of his career so far.

So, 7 years after co-writing, and 6 since it went number-one, Thomas is reflecting on “Die A Happy Man”…he shares, “January 2015, I wrote ‘Die A Happy Man’ with Joe London and Sean Douglas. This video is from the very first time I played it live in Little Rock a few nights later…y’all embraced this song in a way that changed my life and career forever, and I’ll always be grateful to you guys for that.”

Thomas recalls this “Where He Started” moment in his career as he’s getting ready to release his next album, Where We Started, on April 1st.

The first single from the new project is working its way up the airplay chart – “Slow Down Summer” is the latest from Thomas Rhett.

Kelsea Ballerini Debuts New Song on Recent Opry Appearance

Kelsea Ballerini is climbing the country music airplay chart with “half of my hometown” – her Top-10 (and climbing) hit with Kenny Chesney.

On a recent appearance at the Grand Ole Opry not only did Kelsea reveal that she’s in the very early stages of working on a follow-up project to her 2020 album, but she also shared a song that might make the cut.

“What I Have” is the title of the track that Kelsea says the song was inspired by how people have kind of had to take a step back over the past couple of years and reflect on their lives. Kelsea adds that during that time she started to appreciate the little things a lot more.

Dan + Shay Want You to Know the Struggle is Real with Snacking

Dan + Shay Want You to Know the Struggle is Real with Snacking

It’s the end of January, and this is about the time when some New Year resolutions start to fail.

Did you make one? How’s it going?

Well, a lot of people try to start the new year with better eating habits, but the one thing that trips up many is late-night snacking.

Dan + Shay are right there with you. Shay Mooney admits that he and Dan Smyers try to stick to their meal plans, but after-hours trips to the kitchen seem to hit all of us.

Shay shares, “For me…I feel like Dan and I probably both struggle with it…I feel like everyone struggles with this, but late night snacking…I feel like you know there’s just those situations, you walk into the kitchen – you don’t even know what you’re looking for…it’s late at night and you’re just like I don’t even need anything I’m not even hungry.”

The struggle is real, and even Dan + Shay suffer from it.

Good news is that if you follow the dance routine their video for “Steal My Love” you might work off a couple of those late night snacks…

Lee Brice Had a Ball Making the Music Video for “Soul”

Lee Brice Had a Ball Making the Music Video for “Soul”

Lee Brice is following up the success of “One Of Them Girls” and “Memory I Don’t Mess With” with “Soul” – the third single from his 2020 album, Hey World.

Talking about his current single Lee says “Well, the story behind my song ‘Soul’ is the fact that I get to hear great song writers writing great songs all the time. I ran across this song…it just felt good to me. This is one that I didn’t write, but was so proud and so excited to get my vocal on, and to create something that sounds a little different than everything else that’s out there. You know getting to play it live is when I really see the song shine and seeing people just fall right into the groove immediately that’s been the story behind my song ‘Soul'”

Lee just released the music video for the song – which matches the fun and energy pulsing through the unconventional love song.

Brice shares, “We had a ball, with every aspect of this song…finding it, (thank you, JR), hearing it the first time, recording it, singing it, mixing it, shooting the video, all of it. I feel like ‘Hey World’ is my most diverse and at the same time cohesive record I’ve ever made. We have fun songs to mix in with the heavier ones and I couldn’t be happier with how this track turned out. The idea that our souls truly connect to each other in unexplainable ways has always been at the core of what I do as a musician, a writer, a producer, and a singer….and I think it’s a good reminder to keep with me every day. I hope everybody loves this song as much as I do.”
