Tenille Arts Kills the Online Trolls & Bullies with Kindness & Comments

Tenille Arts Kills the Online Trolls & Bullies with Kindness & Comments

Doesn’t matter whether you’re famous or not…everyone has to deal with online trolls or bullies at some point.

Tenille Arts is very active on social media sharing things with her fans…like the behind the scenes of her music video for “Back The, Right Now.”

And most of the time what Tenille gets back from her fans is a positive experience with them messaging and commenting in a polite and nice way.

But, there’s also the haters…and it’s those people that will try to provoke a negative response from Tenille.

Tenille discovered that when someone leaves a rude or mean comment, she addresses that post in a calm and respectful manner, and most of the time she can defuse the situation and even turn the mean-poster into a nice one.

She shares, “It’s always funny how the tone changes…if you like their comment and then just say something underneath like it doesn’t even have to…it doesn’t have to be negative you can just be like ‘oh hey glad you saw me on the show.’ You know, it’s just kind of acknowledging that people…when people make negative comments they think that the artist don’t see them or whatever it is but it’s like the second you show that you’ve seen it and that you commented their tone changes like that! It’s just it’s just funny to see for me I think I like that kind of stuff.”

So, with that, her fans are commenting that they love Tenille’s new song “Back Then, Right Now.”

Mitchell Tenpenny’s EP, Midtown Diaries is Available Now

Mitchell Tenpenny’s EP, Midtown Diaries is Available Now

Mitchell Tenpenny‘s 8-track EP, Midtown Diaries is available now for fans to check out…

Mitchell shares that the title of the project was inspired by a part of Nashville that had a big influence on his life, “Midtown Diaries comes from, that’s where I hang out all the time. I mean, when we’re done writing songs, I go to Midtown…It’s just right off Music Row. Music Row is where a lot of the writing happens where a lot of the publishing companies and record labels are. So at the end of the day, it’s a really easy walk to get down to Midtown in Nashville. And a lot of these songs have derived from there. I’ve been broken up there, met my girlfriend there. I’ve got a lot of titles from songs there. So it just made sense. When I was putting together this project, this EP to name it after Midtown, because these songs wouldn’t exist honestly, without it.”

When it comes to the tracks on the EP, Mitchell says that the songs vary enough that he think there’s something for everyone, “I did so many different songs, so many different, you know, feels and vibes because I wanted people to be able to find their song. We have love songs. We have breakup songs. We have life songs. We have just weird songs, songs that I don’t know, I just want people to find their story. And to have their song on that record like I had growing up on different records and different songs.”

The one common thread through the entire project – which he had a hand in writing all of the tracks – is how the songs are all a part of Mitchell’s story, “It’s very important to me that we’re authentic and all these songs I’ve put together, you know. I’ve lived this life so I’m hoping people enjoyed it as much as I did writing it, and that they found their song in it.”

Midtown Diaries EP track listing:
1. “To Us It Did” – Mitchell Tenpenny/Michael Hardy/Jordan Schmidt
2. “Good Thing” – Mitchell Tenpenny/Thomas Archer/Kyle Fishman

Carly Pearce Tells Her Truth This Week as a CMA Nominee

Carly Pearce Tells Her Truth This Week as a CMA Nominee

Carly Pearce‘s new album arrives this week!

Talking about the new album, Carly shares “My truth in 15 songs. All written in stone. I can’t wait to share them with you this Friday.”

29: Written in Stone is coming out the week after it was announced that Carly is a double CMA Award nominee. She received nods in the categories for Album and Female Vocalist of the Year.

Her Album Of The Year nom is for 29 – her collection of music that came out earlier this year.

When it comes to her Female Vocalist nomination, Carly says, “Last year when I saw my name on the CMA nominations for Song of the Year, I thought my heart was going to explode. This year, it was even more intense. So many of the women I’ve loved – Patty Loveless, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood, Alison Krauss, Faith Hill, Lee Ann Womack, Barbara Mandrell, Emmylou Harris, Loretta Lynn – have won Female Vocalist. To be in their company was a dream in some of my lowest moments. To be back here this year with so many incredible peers and vocalists makes me feel like people can hear the truth I try to carry in my voice. I am so honored.”

Carly fans know that two of those names she mentioned have a connection to her album due out Friday. “Dear Miss Loretta” is the song Carly wrote about Loretta Lynn, that Patty Loveless joins her on…

Carly has had a very emotional few weeks. Her album is coming out, her CMA Award nominations…she recently achieved a lifelong goal of becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry, her Hometown placed a marker on its border that reads “Welcome to Taylor Mill, Hometown of Country Music Star, Carly Pearce” while presenting her a key to the city.

And last week, she got to perform a very special version of her song “Show Me Around.”

Carly shares, “A few of my band members & I traveled to Shanksville, PA for an unforgettable evening honoring the men & women of Flight 93 singing my song “Show Me Around”. To say it was emotional was an understatement, but I truly looked up as I was singing and felt like I could feel the presence of all 40 of those heroes in the clouds above. A moment to pay tribute that I’ll never forget.”

The performance was included in this past weekend’s special 2-Hour Grand Ole Opry show that partnered with The Wounded Warrior Project. Along with Carly, there was also performances from Trace Adkins, Jimmie Allen, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mercy Me, Trisha Yearwood, Craig Morgan, Lauren Alaina, Brad Paisley, Vince Gill and many others.

Carrie Underwood Kicks Off Her 9th Season of Sunday Night Football

Carrie Underwood Kicks Off Her 9th Season of Sunday Night Football

Carrie Underwood kicked off the Sunday Night Football game on the first week of the season – which is Carrie’s 9th year of doing so.

Carrie loves being associated with the sport, which she says is pretty ingrained in her, “I love being the voice of Sunday Night Football because I grew up watching football…from birth. I’m from Oklahoma – we’re a football state.”

Carrie loves the way fans get so involved with the weekly game, and her intro, “Everybody has their teams and there’s such an energy about it. You have your favorites. They have their rivals. There’s an excitement to it that really, it’s unlike anything else, so being a small part of that is absolutely amazing. It’s been so wonderful working with everybody at SNF, and I count myself very lucky and very blessed that I get to be a small part of something that I’ve loved my whole life.”

While Oklahoma does not have its own NFL team, Carrie remembers heading south to Texas to watch ‘Dem Boys live and in-person, “We would drive down to Dallas and watch the Cowboys play whenever we could. There’s just something about being at a live sporting event or watching it on TV.”
