Cassadee Pope recently appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show where she revealed the name of her upcoming album, and performed her current single.

Cassadee’s new album, Thrive, will arrive later this year in the Fall.

This past weekend Brad Paisley was just one of many country artists returning to the stage after an extended break due to the COVID shutdown.
Brad shared, “It feels so surreal to be back on tour. We’ve waited over 15 months for this. But, we’re back…and we will see you soon in your town.”
For fans that are waiting to see Brad in concert, you can check him out tomorrow night as part of an all-star line up of programs during Shark Week!

Gabby Barrett is living the country music dream – her first two singles, “I Hope” and “The Good Ones” have both gone straight to the top of the country music airplay charts.
Now the latest release from her album Goldmine, is ready to continue that path…
Gabby’s living the message that she sings about in “Footprints On The Moon,” and she hope it inspires others, “’Footprints On The Moon’ is a song about never giving up on your dreams, to always reach for them, and to not listen to people that are going to try to drag you down, and tell you it’s not possible for it to happen…it’s happened to me so I hope people can take away a good and positive message from the song.”

Sending out get well wishes to Lady A‘s Charles Kelley who is dealing with appendix issues.
Charles shared the following message and picture on social media this weekend…
“Hey guys – sitting here in the hospital and so bummed to have missed performing our first show back in Minnesota, not to mention in 16 months – that’s an understatement. But the ol’ appendix had other plans. Didn’t even know what an appendix was until Friday when it sent me to the ER. Love y’all and be back soon enough.”
The trio was scheduled to appear at the Lakefront Music Fest in Minnesota with Jake Owen and Noah Guthrie, but sadly a bout with appendicitis put a damper on Lady A’s long awaited return to the stage.
The band has back-to-back shows scheduled at Billy Bob’s in Fort Worth, Texas this Friday and Saturday, before they kick off their What A Song Can Do tour on the 29th in Connecticut – no word yet on the how this will impact those dates.
We’re wishing Charles a speedy recovery…

Luke Bryan kicked off his Proud To Be Right Here tour last night in Syracuse, NY.
He was excited to get back on stage and share musical moments with the crowd – like when he sang his latest hit “Waves.”
Luke shared, “I’ve been waiting to perform these new songs for y’all for a while now. New York did us right! Amazing kick off to the Proud To Be Right Here Tour. Feels good to be back!”
But being on stage performing is only one part of what Luke missed. It’s also the backstage moments – hanging with his openers like Dylan Scott, Caylee Hammack and the ladies of Runaway June. It’s those candid moments where Luke not only gets to know his fellow artists better, but it also sparks new creative ideas.
Luke says, “I mean, I’m really excited about those little opportunities to have fun song ideas. I mean, when you’re hanging after a show, you know, having some drinks, talking, cuttin’ up, you get fun song ideas. And you’re like, ‘Hey, we need to write this idea’.”

Who picks up random calls these days, right?
If you don’t know the number, let it roll to voicemail. Well, in the wake of her surprise invitation to become the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry – extended by Dolly Parton, Carly Pearce is feeling lucky.
Carly’s phone has been ringing a lot lately with a ton of messages of congratulations…and she can’t believe who is reaching out to her.
Carly shares, “I got a random phone call and picked it up, and it was Barbara Mandrell, who I’ve never met her. And she had this long conversation with me about becoming a member, and how excited she was for me, and just giving me some of her insight.”
With everything that’s happened in her career, Carly is still blown away who she’s getting calls and texts from, “It’s just like, these absolute idols…Trisha Yearwood sent me a text, and I’m like, thanks Trisha! It’s just so crazy to have these women that I’ve really looked up to, that are country music royalty, wrapping their arms around me.”
Carly’s official induction into the Opry will be next month – Tuesday August 3rd.

Priscilla Block might say that Taylor Swift and Randy Travis helped her to get where she is today.
After being in Music City for a while, Priscilla found that her country music dream was not unfolding like she had hoped.
Priscilla shares, “My first year in Nashville was pretty tough. I kinda fell on my face pretty hard, being this 18 year old girl having no clue what I was doing in town and I just found myself at a place where you know I didn’t know what I was doing I just felt super duper lost.”
It was in that moment where she was having a crisis of faith in her dream, that Taylor Swift fatefully stepped in.
On the very same day that she called her sister, and talked about moving back home to North Carolina, a random run-in with Taylor turned everything around, “That day Taylor Swift was driving by, I was wearing a Taylor Swift t-shirt, and she pulled her car over to the side of the road and hopped into her passenger seat, opened up her car door and was like ‘Hey girl, I love your shirt’ and it was really the moment that I needed. It’s funny like I didn’t even tell her I did music I was just like ‘Thank you so much’ like, she had no clue how much that meant to me but that really was the day that I knew that I needed to give music a shot. I quit my job, I quit school, and I just ran fast, and I don’t run!!!”
Then last year before she got signed to her record deal, she was playing a show where Randy Travis was in the audience, “So, Randy Travis is incredible, everyone knows this. What a freaking legend, right? I was playing at the Nashville Palace with some friends and I look out and it’s Randy Travis just sitting there, hanging out.”
But it turned out that Randy wasn’t just going to sit there – he made sure that Priscilla and her band we’re taken care of for their efforts. She shares what happened next, “The night went on, he watched the entire set, and midway through, one of the workers there was like, ‘Hey-Randy wants to auction this jacket off for you guys.’ We’re all like, ‘What?’ So, the Nashville Palace gave Randy a jacket that said Nashville Palace on it. It was really cool. It was one of their super special jackets, I’m sure. And he signed it and said let’s give it to the band. The worker there was like we’re gonna auction off this signed Randy Travis jacket and all the money’s gonna go to the band up on stage. People are calling out all throughout the restaurant, raising hands, raising hands. We were sitting up on stage, I am crying. Again one of those moments that no one knows where you’re at in life, and that meant more to me than anything in the world. He didn’t have to do that, but he did.”
We can’t wait to hear about the next amazing moment Priscilla will have in her life…
