Mickey Guyton Releases New Video for “Heaven Down Here” [Watch]

Mickey Guyton released a new video for her single, “Heaven Down Here.”

Directed by Sarah McColgan, the video features juxtaposing clips of the world through Mickey’s eyes as she sings her message of hope. The new single, which was co-penned by Mickey, Gordie Sampson, Josh Kear and Hillary Lindsey, is featured on Mickey’s six-song EP, Bridges, which dropped on Sept. 11.

“Two years ago, this project didn’t feel like it was even a possibility,” says Mickey. “This EP proves that in your darkest moments, you can have your biggest breakthroughs. I think back to all of the obstacles in my life and career, including writing and recording most of this EP in quarantine during a time of social unrest, and how it has all led to the birth of this beautiful project. I hope these songs provide others with the same happiness and strength they have provided me in these uncertain times.”

In August, Mickey and husband Grant Savoy announced they are expecting their first child.

Kane Brown Sings the Praises of Wife & Daughter on New Single, “Worship You” [Listen]

Kane Brown Sings the Praises of Wife & Daughter on New Single, “Worship You” [Listen]

Kane Brown will follow up his Top 5 hit, “Cool Again,” with the release of “Worship You.”

Penned by Kane, Alexander Izquierdo and Ryan Vojtesak, “Worship You” will impact country radio on Oct. 26. The new tune is featured on Kane’s 2020 EP, Mixtape, Vol. 1.

Kane says the sweet song makes him think of both his wife of two years, Katelyn, and their 11-month-old daughter, Kingsley.

‘“Worship You’ is a song . . . that’s saying that your girl, your wife, is your everything,” says Kane. “You know that she don’t walk on water or anything like that, but you basically praise her. Originally, you know, I was thinking about Katelyn, but then I did this video that I put on my Instagram—it was me, Katelyn and Kingsley, and I was singing it to Kingsley. And I was like, you know, this song could be about my daughter, too. It’s basically just like worshiping my family now, you know? They’re both my girls and I’d do anything for them. Worship the ground  they walk on. I feel like it’s going to be a wedding song.”

Lee Brice’s “One of Them Girls” Is No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart for 3rd Straight Week

Lee Brice’s “One of Them Girls” Is No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart for 3rd Straight Week

Lee Brice’s “One of Them Girls” is No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart for the third consecutive week. The tune is Lee’s eighth No. 1 single.

“Truth is, I really have no words,” says Lee. “It’s just been such a long road with so many great teammates working so hard to make and keep things going . . . from the creation of the song to radio jumping in so quickly, the fans listening like crazy, to the last drop of blood, sweat, and tears from my label working their butts off. I’m just so thankful!”

“One of Them Girls” follows Lee’s previous No. 1 single, “Rumors,” which topped the charts in July 2019, and his collaboration with Carly Pearce, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” which peaked at No. 1 earlier this year.

Lee was inspired to write “One of Them Girls” on Father’s Day in 2019 after a moment of reflection with his family. He penned the song the following morning with Ashley Gorley, Dallas Davidson and Ben Johnson.

“One of Them Girls” is the lead single to Lee’s upcoming sixth studio album, Hey World, which drops on Nov. 20.
