Gabby Barrett’s “I Hope” Is No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart for the 8th Week

Gabby Barrett’s “I Hope” is No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart (streaming, sales and airplay-based) for the eighth week.

After topping the Billboard Country Airplay chart in April, “I Hope” reached the top of the Hot Country Songs chart in its 64th week, which is the longest trek to No. 1 in the chart’s 76-year history. The tune unseated Maren Morris’ “The Bones,” which had enjoyed a 19-week reign at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart.

Penned by Gabby, Zachary Kale and Jon Nite, “I Hope” is featured on Gabby’s 2020 debut album, Goldmine. Gabby recently released the album on vinyl, which was pressed into a signature gold-colored disc.

On Aug. 16, Gabby, 20, and husband Cade Foehner, 24, announced they are expecting their first child—a baby girl.

Cam Reveals Track List for Upcoming Sophomore Album, “The Otherside”

Cam revealed the track list for her upcoming sophomore album, The Otherside, which drops on Oct. 30.

Cam has already shared four songs from the upcoming project, including “Diane,” “Till There’s Nothing Left,” ‘Redwood Tree” and current single, “Classic.” The new project follows Cam’s 2015 major-label debut album, Untamed.

The Los Angeles Sparks (15-7) are in the playoffs for the 12th time of the Candace Parker era, and the WNBA’s No. 3 seed is scheduled to play in a second-round contest at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday on ESPN2. Parker and the Sparks will face one of the winners from the first-round games between No. 7 Connecticut and No. 6 Chicago or No. 8 Washington and No. 5 Phoenix.
