Shoe

Brian “SHOE” is more than proud to be a Native Tennessean.  Shoe was born and raised on the banks of the Cumberland River in Hendersonville, TN.  Being from the near Nashville area and sharing the shores of the Cumberland with legendary Country artists like Johnny Cash, Barbara Mandrell, Reba McEntire, Conway Twitty, and Clint Black; Shoe is all too familiar with the Country music scene.  Some years after he graduated from Hendersonville High School, Taylor Swift soon walked through the same halls.  So whether it was known at young age or not, Shoe was born country.  It was a common occurrence for him to have been spotted at the “original” Party Cove, before Craig Morgan put it to lyrics in “Red Neck Yacht Club.”  Shoe is a University of Tennessee Alum Broadcasting Major and his blood has run orange since he was just a wee tyke. (GBO!) He is a 20 year radio veteran of the Knoxville and Clarksville Tennessee markets. When he is not On-Air or Producing, you can usually find him Engineering or Promoting something for WIVK.  Ecstatic to be working in radio, this guy has been “froggin’ around ” since his early days and is truly happy to be with the Frog station.
