Josh Ward’s Analysis: Tennessee needed to add more defensive line help and did so by landing Jenkins. He has great length and size to build on when he develops in Tennessee’s weight room. The Vols did a good job finding help on the defensive front in the fall; Jenkins can help solidify the group in the future.

Eric Cain’s Analysis:  Jenkins will be a work in progress at the next level and will immediately benefit from the strength & conditioning program this summer – but has size and a solid foundation to add good weight. The versatile defensive lineman can rep several techniques across the defensive line and how much weight he puts on will determine where he plays.

Jenkins’ best attribute are his hands and they are very active. He displays a pro-spin move and has a high-motor. Tennessee, needing defensive linemen, have a project player who could turn into a solid Power 5 player down the line.
