The Knoxville Fire Department makes an arrest in the Fire at Dollar General on Executive Park Drive which caused more than one million dollars in damage to the building and its contents.
Knoxville Fire Investigators have been diligently working to identify the suspect seen on surveillance video who is responsible for last Tuesday’s fire and they took the suspect, 31-year-old Daniel Nelson, into custody yesterday afternoon (Monday) after he admitted to investigators he set the fire. He is charged with one count of Aggravated Arson.
The investigation into the motive and circumstances is ongoing at this time.
