Loudon County Deputy Finds Missing Teen out of Georgia, Sheriff’s Office Says

Philadelphia, TN (WOKI) An endangered teen out of Georgia is reunited with her parents and another is arrested Monday following a traffic stop in Loudon County.

Officials with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office say Deputy Justin Parks stopped 19-year-old Joshua Workman for failing to stay in his lane while driving on I-75 around 11:00 p.m.

LCSO says that during the stop, Parks noticed that the passenger, a 15-year-old girl, was entered as a missing/endangered juvenile out of Georgia, adding that Workman was driving the girl to Ohio.

He was charged with harboring or hiding a runaway child, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and violating alcohol laws.

The girl was released to her parents.
