Roane County, TN (WOKI /WVLT) – A third man has now been sentenced in connection to the 2020 death of a Roane County man.
District Attorney General Russell Johnson says Nicholas Holloway pleaded guilty Thursday to charges tied to the beating death of Robert Quenton McCullough.
McCullough was last seen in October 2020. Investigators later found his body in December of that year at an abandoned trailer in Morgan County after receiving a tip.
Holloway pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Two other suspects have already been sentenced. Joshua Aikens received a life sentence after pleading guilty to first-degree murder, while Shane Parks was sentenced to 45 years after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and kidnapping.
The case was investigated by multiple agencies, including the Roane County Sheriff’s Office, Rockwood Police Department, and Morgan County Sheriff’s Department.
