Knoxville, TN (WOKI / WVLT) – A Knoxville man is facing charges following an altercation with a construction worker at a North Knoxville job site.
According to the Knoxville Police Department, the incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday on Davida Road, where a worker was setting up a roadblock for a construction area. Investigators say 45-year-old Johnathan Davis became upset and began arguing with the worker.
During the confrontation, police say Davis struck the worker in the face. Officers reported visible injuries, including bruising and a blood blister inside the worker’s cheek. A witness at the scene reportedly captured the incident on a dash camera.
Davis denied hitting the worker, according to the report, but was charged with assault.
