Knoxville, TN (WOKI)- Knoxville Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning outside an after-hours club on North Broadway.
Officers were called to the VIP Lounge on North Broadway just before 4 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound on the sidewalk near the club’s entrance.
The victim was transported to UT Medical Center for treatment and is currently listed in critical but stable condition.
Officers at the scene detained and questioned several potential witnesses. Investigators say the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, and no suspect has been identified or charged at this time.
